Is there anaybody here that runs wot on LINUX without any errors?

If so, please share your wisdom with me.

I've found some installation guides that rely on Wine, but none of the methods are working so far

you can't natively

you can only mirror it or run a dedicated VM, but for the most part, no you can't

Yep, Brother. Enjoy the Kool-Aid and come to the dark side. Bill Gates isn't really the devil- that was just a meme.

I've been running WoT on linux for nearly 2 years.  Initially I used PlayOnLinux (POL) but of late I've been using a basic setup with WINE alone.  You may want to checkout this thread -

One annoyance has cropped up with patch 9.16.  Prior to that I could put emblems on my tanks in the Exterior window in the garage.  Since 9.16 that's been broken for me.  But I really don't care much about emblems.  So, I've been too lazy to take the time to suss out a fix, yet.  Would rather play than rake through error logs.

Best regards,

wine instructions were hard to find  . i started with wine 1.7.22 then 2.22. my propriatary video driver , made the game look like a bunch of frames coming apart .but i scored 50fps . when i changed to  the linux default vidio driver  i dropped to 40 frames , but the program held together . all the ok buttons were there they were disapearing before, spontanius glitching .

i left my wine  setup on all auto   couldnt find the settings i was looking for  from another topic at playonlinux site , and it toke 2 days before it fullscreened properly. i put the  desktop re to the res you run tanks at or it scuewes the image. but if you turn off the toolbar in linux its better. yay i made a POS  work. geforce 550ti

I used to run it through Wine on Ubuntu and it worked great with an ATI card. some occasional texture hiccups but gameplay was good.
