Got email to Transfer but not working. Thanks WG.

This states that accounts are moved and linked, not merged, and that the transfer process isn't even open until 9pm on October 26 AEDT... something they forgot to mention in the email.

 

So I'm going to change the email address of my NA account (as per the post) and apparently this will mean the account will come across and be "linked" to my Asia account. This is completely contrary to the prior information but it sounds like this is SNAFU.

 

[Edit] OMG, I just tried to change the email address on my NA account and got the message "No phone number is added to your account. You will be able to change the email address in 30 days after the phone number is added." Of course, if I have to wait 30 days I'll be outside the 9 November cutoff date for the account transfers. *sigh* So now I'll have to log a ticket... life shouldn't be this hard.

It gets better.  I moved my APAC account to another email and set up a sacrificial account on my main email for the transfer.  This is before they told us ( lol ) that they were going to make us choose a new email anyway.  So I went to add my number to the account so I could change my email, and found that you cannot assign 1 number to more than 1 account on the same server.  Now,  My account from NA will be coming over and when I have to set up a new account, it seems I won't be able to attach my number to it.  Has anyone at WG thought about this kind of thing.  It's an account security issue you would think?

So still not working and still no news from WG. They really have poor customer service like so bad. This is appalling. You would think they would wanna keep customers?

How is this going to help without the email with the username & password. 

They probably stalling so it goes past the deadline n go sorry this isn't offered anymore.

I have only just been told by a friend about the au server.... and it appears im now not going to be playing with any of them for months if not years until they do another transfer... dammit.

Even raised a ticked and got a swift kick in the nuts..

Same too. I just submitted a ticket, and the staff answered me as follows,

Thank you for your interest in transferring servers. We have reviewed your account and unfortunately you are not eligible to transfer to the SEA region at this time since the acceptance period was closed on October 22nd.

We do understand that we mentioned that you were eligible to transfer before, however, it looks like you did not opt in to transfer your account using the Transfer Survey we sent out to players. That is the reason why, you did not get any server transfer confirmation email from us.

 

 Ummm...I don't think that I've ever got any Transfer Survey...or I really missed something!? (sigh...)

I still haven't been transferred, any update from someone from war gaming explaining what is going on would be great.

 

But at least it isn't as bad as my mate, his NA account is deleted and says its transferred to the asia region but on the SEA login it says there is no account for that user :(
