Hi everyone,

This morning you may have received an email with a link to the NA transfer site. But as some of our more savvy members would have noticed, the website isn’t active yet. Unfortunately we jumped the gun and it was missing some key information, such as the fact that the transfer website will not be live until Oct 26 at 9pm AEDT (Sydney)/ 3am PDT (California)/6am EST (New York). It will remain open until Nov 6 at 9pm AEDT (Sydney)/ 3am PDT (California)/6am EST (New York).

We apologise for any confusion this may have caused, please check back at the time above to complete your transfer.

Now, to the concerns around how account transfers work and any possible ‘merge’ of multiple accounts. While we acknowledge there has been some confusion around wording originally sent in relation to possible ‘account merges’, at this stage it is not possible for us to merge NA accounts with Asia accounts due to current technology constraints.

If you register your NA account to be transferred to the Asia server, it will not be merged with your Asia account. In order to get your NA account transferred over to the Asia server, you will need separate email addresses for each account. If your Asia and NA accounts are currently on different email addresses, you should be fine to go. If they use the same email address you will need to create a new email address for the NA account to link to. Our system will not allow you to link two accounts to one email address. Once the website is active and you are logged in with your current NA account, you enter the desired email address for the account to be linked to.

We understand some of you strongly wish to merge accounts and while we can’t currently offer that, we are actively looking into how to make it possible. However please note there is currently no available timeframe for when this might be completed.

The final looming question is what will be transferred over and will any profile data be lost during that process. The good news here is that everything in your NA account will be copied over as it was to your new Asia account. Premium tanks, crew XP, player XP, premium time – the lot. It will all be there in your Asia account like it was in your NA account.

Thanks,

The Transfer Team

I am actually stunned by the fact they literally "forgot' to mention when the transfers can be initiated....

Just please make sure to let us know when the Transfers are open from the NA to the EU, Begin Please....

Because, some of us have accounts here on the NA and the EU already also.  This is good practice for when we get ready for the NA ---->  EU transfers.   :medal:

Please keep us apprised of that.

Hey Cabbage, if we transfer, we still get our AC-1 Sentinel and 1 Week Premium free right?

What about a free name change and expedited E-Mail change for both accounts so we can get them set to transfer?

Gdam it. I have an Asia account with the same email already. I don't want it merged just put all my stuff on that email.. Delete the Asia account I don't care iv literally played the tutorial on it. Welp I best get a new email ready so stupid. Cant even offer an email swap for the old soon to be banned NA server.

I got the email yesterday and was utterly confused by the link, at least this clears that mess up.

@warhearts The email showed up in the promotions tab of my gmail not my inbox for some reason maybe yours did too?

Just change it so that the ANZ server is attached to the NA cluster rather than the Asian cluster. Problem solved.

If that was the case can I transfer from SEA to here? That'd be amazing.

Copy pasting my post from the other thread since it seems all admins have abandoned that one: So, if we can't have the accounts merged, can I have my current APAC account deleted and then use that email address to transfer my NA account to? I only created a APAC account to check out the ping because you said they could be merged at the start of this whole thing, never would have done it if I knew it was going to cause these issues.

I like how you have to wait 30 days before you can change your email if you have just added a phone number to get this transfer working...

The time window will be closed by then...

Also @Wargaming can we change the ASIA email instead of the NA one?

I have also an account on both server, same email, same username. A free username and email change for my ASIA account would help forgetting being misled about account merging.

All I'd really want from my ASIA account would be my premium tanks really, but oh well, looks like i'm gonna have 2 accounts now, is it possible to dual log WoT?

So as with many of you, I too have an account on NA and APAC. I used NA back in the day and spent quite a lot of time and money on the tanks there. I then changed to APAC because of the lower ping and started grinding out tanks.

Now 7k battles in and 40 or so pimped tanks/crews. I was pretty stoked with wargaming when we got the news that we could merge. It restored much of my diminishing faith in WoT.

Been planning where to put my NA crews from my double-ups and generally looking forward to having all of my tanks in the same place.

And then along comes this post to really crapon my parade. Why? Why the hell would any sane person want to have two separate APAC accounts?

Log into account ‘A’ for a while and change over to account ‘B’ when you feel like playing the tanks there?

I call BS on the not having the technological capabilities to merge. It’s a business. As such it will be a money driven exercise.

If I can’t merge then I’d prefer to not move my NA content at all.

The RAGE is strong, uninstall imminent!

I am very curious. Do the forum administrators ever communicate with customer service reps? ... This is the response I get from customer service as of October 25th 2017.  Funny thing is that I didn't even ask if I can transfer accounts, I asked how do I change my e-mail since my Asia account also uses the same e-mail.

Probably when the undersea cable has been replaced with a six lane highway.
