Good luck! Hopefully I'll be able to catch a few of the streams. I'm just going for the T34, just too busy to do the others as well.

All,

I’m planning to tackle all three marathons.  I’ll be streaming each time I work on it even if it’s just for a short time to document the journey.  I’ll post here when I’m up and running each time.

Plan is to front load as many missions as possible and clean up as required if I miss a few.

Once I’m done I’ll seek mental help and marriage counseling...

As usual when I stream I’ll discuss what I’m doing and why though that will be colored by spamming for the Marathon especially in the later stages.

My streams are saved so you can check out any you missed.

Additionally I’ll post here the progress and any inside info on how to knock this out.

See you out there and I’ll get started tonight.  Assume the crash position...

Cheers,

Guido

Edit;  Here's a link to my YouTube announcement here with the details of my plan.

Going live at 1945 CST (730 PM) here.

Time for the pain train to commence, though the first stop should be relatively easy...  Famous last words.

Guido

You’re doing it raw that’s for sure.  Keep us posted on your progress.  It’ll be interesting to see how your experience is to mine (premium account and tons of tanks from all the nations).

Well I have plenty of american tanks, and plenty of russian tanks. (except all my russian tanks are no higher than tier 6). I think it's doable. I think the hardest missions will be like the 18 wins one or the very high damage ones.

Czech tanks aren't a option for the mutz missions though..

only German, Sweden and Japan.

Oh ok japan. Makes no difference since I have no japanese tanks either.

I Pretty much had the same results as Guido except I don't anything with 750 Alpha on Day 1

for the Schwarz missions.  (Bummer)  I learned not to mess around with anything less then

my highest Damage dealers so I'm stuck running E75, Skorpion, and Stumil(?) Emil.  I think

by the end I'll end up researching an E100....

I'm up a little early (DAM IT!), but that should change in a couple days...

Took me 10 games to do the mutz mission, with 7 in the jadgtiger @ ~2k, 1 in the udes @ 1k(serving as a scout on ruinburg) and 2 in the jpanth @ 500(ouch) while the jtig was still locked in matches.  I think I can pull that dpg up some, especially the jtig alternates.

Ran 2 battles both of which would have qualified for the T34, and 6 or 7 before I got a good enough win for the IS-6.

Day 1 for T34 and IS6 was easy. 1 game in the hellcat and T-34-85 for both .

Day 2 was more work since it was 5K damage for each. Had a good game in my only tier X E5 and then got the rest with the hellcat. Russia was slightly harder since my highest tank among the allotted nations is 6. I used the T-34-85, A-43, KV-2, and Type 64. Got it all done in an hour. Can't wait until I have to grind 30K+ damage in my tier 6 tanks...

Good luck.

I already have the black mutz and a normal t34 so will just be going after the is6b since I never picked one up due to the gimpy gun. Might as well get one now for free as they will buff it sooner or later.

"Don't be that guy".  Very funny match on Sacred Valley for day one.  Got a real kick out of it.  Bummer on the bad teams last night.  If anyone can perservere by being handed a bad MM, it's you.  Looking forward to catching some of your tougher grinds.  Good luck and enjoy.

Last night was a good test for the longer grinds.  Which I failed and got salty way too early.  I’ll have to pass on the pub first thing from here so I can keep an even keel.

And it wasn’t just the teams though I whined about them.  I played poorly.  So, play poorly, go to pub first and some bad teams equals must-miss TV.

Time to hitch up the britches and get serious (ish),

How's it going, I have finished day 2 of all 3, the IS6 and the T34B are rather simple, the mutz is a bit drawn out , but so far not too difficult

Gave up on getting the t34b as I momentarily changed my mind about getting it. It took 12 freaking games to rack up 5k damage in the 261 just for the is6b due to absolute potato teams and blowout matches where it was over in two or so minutes. No way I'll have the patience to do the last few missions for two tanks as the difficulty only ramps up with each new day.

So far I'm on track.  Took 8 games for the putz, 3 for t34, and 2 for the is6 (almost got it in one).  Gonna ride the horse on all 3 til it bucks me.  GL to Guido and anybody going for all 3.
