Just a follow-up on   http://forum.worldof...tank-viability/

Because T6 is just so RNG, auto-aim, and speed dependent, equipment means all the difference. These are what l would say stomp best, as recommended equipment for viable T6.

Type 64: Vert Stab, Rammer, optics. Can't mount Vents, and un-nerfed LT view range means no need to setup Binocs.

T3485M: Improved Vents, Rammer, optics.

B/Cromwell: Improved Vents, Rammer, GLD. B/Cromwells have bad gun dispersion soft stats, AP velocity, slower aim-time than T3485M. GLD is only reasonable way to improve it.

12T, Cz T25,  &  Strv/57: Improved Vents, GLD, optics. Neither can mount rammer, nor vert stab. 12T can now use GLD+Vert Stab.

Hellcat: Rammer, binocs, camo net. Hellcat can't fit Vents, can't really use optics anymore after all those nerfs.

Not saying anything for Tigers, KV2, or  .oi.  lf you bring these tanks you suck, and your clan sucks.

Pretty sure CO2 and spall liners are the new meta. You heard it here first.

On a related note.....

What tier does everyone buy/install equipment for tanks they are grinding? (excluding Toolbox, Binos and CamoNet) I think i generally buy them around tier 6 or 7 since i don't want to waste gold on the earlier tanks since you move through them so quick. Thoughts?

A general rule of thumb for me, is that if the tank is able to mount Vstab, then mount it (with the exception of the Maus since it's bloom is so good cause the turret rotation speed is bad).

Firefly, E8, E2, and tier 6 LTs benefit from being able to mount Vstab.

E8 used to be known for it's good gun handling. Now that the Type 64 can use Vstabs, it completely bests the E8 in gun handling, especially on the move. Plus better camo, view range, and MOBILITY means the Type 64 completely outclasses the E8 and many other same tier tanks.

Pretty good, but I wouldn't bother with a GLD on a Crommy. You have to be motionless for it to do anything.

I mount vents on low level tanks because class 1 vents only cost 50K credits and I don't bother to dismount them. If I have other equipment sitting in the depot, I'll use it since I don't care about the 10g to dismount.

Problem is many pieces of equipment are based on class rather than tier. And class defines cost.

I use binocs on my Type 64. It’s the only light in the game that I do it on.

I've played multiple 4 hour skirm sessions with a 70+% winrate and a KV-2. Tier 6 skirms require so little skill that you can win with almost any lineup.

I've got a half dozen TOG skirm win replays lying around I would link but I'm on my phone atm.
