Unable to make purchases in Premium Shop - Payment FAILED

Any form of payment to the premium shop from my main account is failing (i.e. Credit card, gift card, and other). It seems as though my account has been blocked from making purchases. I can, however, make purchases or gift to my main account using the same cards from another account. Does WG block users from making purchases? If so, how do i get this lifted from my main WOT account? I started a ticket once already, but they have deemed it taken care of already. I started a new ticket again and I am waiting for response. What department takes care of these issues? Thank you community...

You have to make sure to tell your credit card company that international purchases are okay, because buying from WG counts as an international purpose.

 

It may also be possible that making multiple purchases within a given time period as a security measure.

 

Those are the only things I can think of.

If I understand correctly, you are able to make purchases with the same card on another account?  If so, make sure that the account numbers are entered correctly on the account the purchases failed on.  If it is a different card, make sure that your credit card company allows international purchases (as Brew said).

I have never had an issue with Karma Koin.  It is probably not War Gaming that is turning down your payment(s), it is probably your bank and/or payment provider such as Pay Pal that is causing all the hubbub you are going through.  I found that to be true, myself, and switched to Karma Koin and have never had an issue for more than a year now.

If you don't mind, please put in a ticket so our billing specialists can look into the issue for you. To answer your immediate question, we do not block players from making purchases, however, payment partners can. This is usually due to issues with your bank and whether or not the aggregator accepts the payment. This is quite common with most payment aggregators.

Again, there is nothing wrong with my cards and they are active. My financial provider has not stopped me from buying international and I always enter the number correctly. In the past, I have used visa, Mastercard, and gift cards. I guess its a good thing bc I am saving a lot of money :) However, I did send a ticket in and I am waiting for response still. 

 

Saffr0n - I would guess that the aggregator needs to accept the payment from my account. I am telling you WITHOUT A DOUBT that somehow, someway, my WOT account is being blocked from within WOT or whomever accepts the payment on WG side or as you said aggregator... How do I know? Because I have other WOT accounts and my cards work on those accounts.

No arguments here, just trying to offer help. I haven't said you've done anything wrong. These things happen so I've asked one of the billing specialists to look into your account so I can PM you once I receive more info about the issue.

Make sure your bank has your permission to do international transactions on your account.  That is the usual issue.

They did. Half the problem fixed. I can use my VISA now. However, My Walmart Visa gift card is not working. I tried as VISA and also Gift Card... Thanks for the help ALL...

They aren't brainless, they probably just haven't come to the same realisation as you. It takes a while before the disillusionment sets in.

 

In my time I mistakenly bought the Matilda BP, Ram, Excelsior and Churchill III. None of them were really worth spending money on except for perhaps, the Ram. They all have areas where they can be utilised but the only one I would recommend as a good-ish all-rounder is the Ram, otherwise in my limited experience purchasing premiums is pointless, or at least it used to be. Perhaps with the changed game meta it might not be a brainless tactic to spend real money...
