It seems that teams that played less games got bonus points

lalala played 25 games for potential 75 points getting only 58 points

Meanwhile other teams had to play up to 28 games for potential 84 points

84 - 75 = 9 same difference as 67 - 58

Other teams with less games in the Gosu standings seems to have received a similar bonus.

It sounds unfair if it's like this

"ranking will be decided by overall win % vs total matches played"

Straight from the tournament site, posted since day one. Your team may have had more wins, but also had more losses, thus lowering the win/loss ratio. It's not especially fair but its the best they can do considering it isn't feasible considering that the total number of teams was a prime number. If the full 256 had signed up, everyone would have played the same number of games.

Ok. But what happens with the case on point: A team with 58/75 ( and 76% WR, a tie) getting a better score than a team with 66/84 (78,6% WR) ?

It seems that Wargaming decided if a group was of 7 instead of 8 so that the teams played 6 games on a day instead of 7 that those teams were awarded 3 points for each game fewer they played. I have not seen this done before but it explains how the totals were determined.
