Thanks for the quick feedback. I guess now I just have to decide between vents and GLD. In light of what I’ve heard, I’m leaning towards vents...

Vents.  Anything to get the reload time down.

If your behind a building and your behind a building.. And you reload .34 seconds quicker than me.   What  is your options..  To race out and try and flank me.. I will be reloaded by the time you get to me.. And my bloom will be lower cause your moving.. Boom your dead.. Unless i just wiff a shot and you hit me on the move, your faster reload don't matter..

Even in a face hug that little bit of reload you got means nothing.. I'm not going to quit my face hug until i'm reloaded and we both got shots at that point also..

In heavy's anything more than just the rammer on reload is not needed..  Your faster reload doesn't open up better shots.  You might poke out more get hit more cause you reload so fast.. Your not out DPMing anything unless your in a 5A and then you just run food.. Vents in itself for just a faster reload is not worth. If your just behind cover and been reloaded for 1 sec what was the point.

Like where are u that you think a fraction of a sec is going to save you over and over.. Cause at that point i question my positioning not my reload.. Like why is my life coming down to a fraction of a second why can't I just out beat this guy. What am i doing wrong here.. Am i not bouncing his shots and i over exposing like what is going on in my life righit now.

It's not even 5% it's 5% spread among the crew, so it's more like 2.5% or something that I read somewhere like "+2.5%-2.75% bonus for each parameter (accuracy, base view range, reload etc) except max.speed. " It's boosts very small to all parameters of your tank but doesn't really specialize it for any real role.  Where as a V-Stab, GLD, Optics, Rammer etc gears your tank towards a more tight outcome.

You're right, but that's exactly why it's such a big difference. If the tank already has good gun handling GLD does nothing and Vents is better, but if the tank has nothing the gap between GLD and vents is much larger

V-Stab is just a flat cut for if you want to snap shot

Okay now do that test with the T-34. 10% of a lot is a lot. 5% of a lot I'd a lot less than 10% of a lot. 5 % of not much is not that different from 10% of not that much.

I will link the video if I can find it again, but the guy tested the 50-100 which is also known for really bad gun handling. He did a really exhaustive test which proved that the best combination of equipment to improve gun handling and still be practical is Rammer, Vstab, Vents. Believe me or don't. IDGAF. You can even go on tanks.gg and see what the numbers tell you. You can lead a horse to water....

I run laying drive, rammer and vstab on mine, the gun is the winning point of that tank, so I try to maximize it.

Your spotting is never going to be more than average anyway, so I figure the aim time is more important. YMMV!

^This^

Your main feature for this tank is the gun.  You are not going to out-spot anything.  And truthfully, this is more of a support tank than a brawler.  So make the most out of your gun.  You want it to aim and shoot as quickly as possible.  Those three combine to give you the biggest advantage in either shooting at moving targets, or popping out, firing, and ducking back behind cover.  I would also make sure that your crew has smooth ride and snap shot.

Vents, large-caliber tank gun rammer, vertical stabilizer.

Definitely feels like the DPM is a bit lacking now.. honestly, if I was picking a buff for it, I'd like to bump the alpha up a bit to raise the DPM. The slow firing gun just feels good on the tank.

Personally, I'd keep the DPM, alpha as is but buff the mobility and gun handling to its former Tier 9 levels. :hiding:

You run stuff that improves crew proficiency (vents, BIA, Food) for gun handling, not for reload. It improves all aspects of your ability to accurately shoot the little red tanks.
