wow I'm surprised at the jp4 love. I remember everyone hating it back in the day but I loved it. How things have changed.

Flatpanzer is like the fat, short-bus version of the E25,  but at Tier 6.

JP IV has some of the best concealment in the game.  Only thing is the importance of concealment seems to be fading away.

I am actually surprised that the Jackson is doing as well as it is.  I like it a lot, but I figured I was in the minority.  It is slow, and not nearly as sexy as the Hellcat. But I have found it performs much more consistently overall.  I am glad to see other people like it as well.  The biggest problem here is that it is tier 6.  That seems to be the worst tier for TDs compared to other platforms.  You are coming off relatively powerful and highly competitive tier 5 TDs, and you are just not up to the same level of performance as you get with the higher TDs.  Truthfully, the French and Chinese tier 6 TDs are probably the worst tanks in the game to play.  Not the worst overall, but the ones that are the least fun to play.

Jagdpanzer IV with L/70, fast, nimble, stealth. It is awesome :)

Two thumbs up.  (In reality, it never had an 88 mm anyway.)

It's relatively mobile, stealthy, and has a good gun.  Put on some camo and binocs and you have a great sniping TD.  My vote too, though I also like the PJ IV a lot.

Yes.  It really does.  It has no redeeming features.  It is slow.  The gun is inaccurate.  The armor sucks.  Even the French TD is better.  And if you have ever played that turd on a stick, you will realize just how bad it is.

Up to tier 4 the TDs are very typical. Tier 5 gets strange with the unconventional top 105mm that exclusively shoots HEAT, but you can instead mount the stock gun that can use HE. Its a glass cannon, but it has 12 degrees of depression so you can work ridges in relative safety. The tier 6 is small, agile, and has nice accuracy and penetration on its top 90mm, but has low DPM and is blind. The tier 7 is similar for its tier. At tier 8 you get the UDES, the first in the series that uses the siege mode. Toggling in and out of the mode is the major drawback, but while in siege you do get a notable accuracy advantage even over other 'sniper' TDs. Hypothetically you could get your spread down to 0.22 or so. The penetration and velocity of your standard rounds are also fantastic. However this comes at the price of having no other role to even try outside of camo-sniping. The tier 9 and 10 are extremely similar but with the one key difference of having better armor. 40mm total thickness may not seem like much, but it means anyone using a 120mm gun or a smaller caliber than that will very likely autobounce just because of the angle.
