Does anyone else notice that arty becomes more and less terrible in battles? You play one game with arty and you can't miss a well aimed shot and then you play another game and you can't hit a well aimed shot. Its like the RNG decides(before the battle begins) if your gun is going to be accurate in the coming game.

It feels like it sometimes. (But it isn't.)

Yes, every game.   A +25 -25 percent variance in whether you can hit anything or not.   Dumbest thing they could have ever put in the game mechanics.  And if you have a day where you are on the minus side of it, might as well log off and wait for another day.

I've noticed my Grille seems to bloom much more frequently which of course adds to the aim time and I have the snap shot perk. Accuracy still seems decent once fully aimed....

Back in the old days, when I used to write games, we noticed random number generators were not particularly random. They would often hover at one end or the other of their range. Looks like they still get wonky at times.

Yes. With regular tanks too. Yesterday I was in games with well aimed shots and the aiming circle completely zeroed in with the penetration aiming dot right on a very vulnerable part of the tank. I think had about three shots like that and I might as well not have fired because where the shot went was anyone's guess. Not into the enemy tank that's for sure.

Its the crappy dispersion!

And I also believe that there may be something "off" with how it works

I have shot and watched the targeted tank move away a good distance only to have the shot connect when I was more than certain it was out of the ball park.

I  then remove my tin foil hat and shake my head in disbelief.

Yup, it's one of the biggest reasons I stopped playing arty 2 years ago.

LOL. My I-Pod thinks random means 'please play Rammstein'

Last year it was addicted to LZ.

Random indeed.
