Title says it all....just curious to know if anyone knows if it matters where you have the BIA perk or if you just have it somewhere in the crew skills is all that matters? Is there more benefit to having it be the first skill in the order of skills and then follow up with the remainder of skills?

Nope, all that matters is that they have it. Benefits of order only matter when training for the skills anyway.

Not once they're fully trained, no. Obviously the first skill trains quicker than the second, which is quicker than the third, and so forth, but they're all as effective as can be, regardless of the order you train them in.

The sooner the better, because it doesn't come into effect until all crew have it at 100%.  Since each skill takes significantly longer to reach than the previous one, the longer you wait the more games you play getting no benefit from increased skill if you wait later on in the process for the bia.

I may be doing it weird, but for early skills I want 6th Sense, gun skills and camo or repairs more than anything. When I get 50% into 3rd skill set ( with placeholder skills or just left open), I retrain for silver, keeping 6th and primary skills for the first set, BIA for the second set, and whatever were my secondary skills get moved to 3rd set. Cause I'm anal retentive like that.

But yes, any order you want, including first, if you can stand waiting so long for 6th Sense.

Aren't you losing a lot by retraining them?

a side note, skills/perks other than BIA are more powerful until the 3rd. so generally, thats when people add BIA.

You kind of have to pick your poison with regards to BIA/6th Sense.
Generally speaking, I like to get BIA trained up on everyone with one of the first two skills/perks, because the 3rd skill takes soooooo much longer than the 2nd, and it basically means your crew isn't getting any better for an extended period of time while it trains up.
What I usually end up doing is training up BIA on all my crew members besides my Commander with the first skill/perk, and 6th Sense on the commander, seeing as the first skill generally goes very quickly.  With the 2nd skill I pick something like Recon or Situational Awareness(If applicable) on the Commander so that it improves the performance of the crew while the 2nd skill trains up.  Once it gets to 100% I pay the gold and switch it to BIA and 6th Sense, that way i'm only spending 200(Or 100 if it happens to be a skill reset discount weekend).  That way you're only paying the gold to retrain 1 crew member, as opposed to multiple.

How much did you pay for the account? Was it on eBay or somewhere else?

Yes it matters because if the little light-up boxes make a squiggly line instead of a straight line my OCD can't handle it.

Otherwise no... It doesn't matter.

I understand the question.  There’s an old school of thought that the order does make a difference.  That is, the effects are cumulative and not just independent of each other.  I’m looking for an old discussion on that but can’t find it yet.  Probably an old wives tale but it’s come up before.
