I mean you still have another 6 days to earn 5 more tokens to bring your german total to 10 if you can manage to output enough damage. Just get something that you can consistently average like 1k damage in and its only about 45 games on the hardest day.

Actually, it would be 45 games on the easiest day, today, at averaging 1000 damage per match.  We need 40K damage today, and it is fair to assume that 5 games out of 45 I will not be in top 10 in damage.  Much harder tomorrow and after, with at least 2500 damage added every day, now.

If I had known from the beginning that I could only buy 1 token pack per marathon tank, I might have kept grinding along, and be in a better position now, with more options.

But if they allowed multipacks on a given tank, they would be essentially selling the tank for 2/3 price (since anyone can do 5 of the missions) and then the people who paid FULL price initially would get mad at WG.  So, it does make perfect sense the way they did it.

Not, 2/3 the price, but 3/4 the price, and it makes perfect sense that participating in a marathon is different from buying it outright.

Why is option D so unreasonable that WG won't allow it?  They make twice as much money on that as they do on option C, right?

Wrong. The more mixed up you get about this the more value completely worthless pixels seem to have. And when something that can be reproduced at no cost appears to have value they make money. A lot of money.

Then how is he wrong?  If they can reproduce the pixel tank at no cost, then, if you give them twice as much money, effectively, they DO make twice as much money.

Does the guy you quoted understand what you said better than you do, and before you even typed it in here?

Or are you trying to say something else, because....

"Money to buy tank" - "no cost"  = "money to buy tank"

"2x money to buy tank" - "same no cost"  = "2x money to buy tank"

Yeah, it checks out, WG makes about "2x money to buy tank" when you give them "2x money to buy tank," according to your estimate of the production cost of "no cost."

Has anybody noticed that when this first came out, it showed that 5 tokens were $5.99 instead of the 18.99, 17.99, and 14.99. I wish I had screen shot that. Then we would have them on fraud. This is really sad.

I have saved one of my Subway gift card to buy tokes with..................but Wargaming say nope nope nope. You can buy a $10 Chirchill III with Openbucks, but not 15 buck worth of tokens.

Geezzz

I meant none of it ever makes sense, prem time only boosts half, a single prem tank that cost as much as a full title video game yet is generally a poor performer. Little of it makes sense to us- or me specifically- yet at those notorious banks in Cypress its making billions in cents and dollars. Use every trick in the book to make something of little or no real life value have tremendous online value.

Your frustration drives value: if you didnt care the game would have no value.

Apologies if you felt I troll posted, I was rushed at lunch break, my bad.

Update:

The Black Mutz is available in the Premium Shop for less than the cost of 2 token packs, so not being able to buy 2 token packs for one tank is not a problem for the Mutz.

However:

  • The marathon missions for the Mutz were then a waste of time for me, I was not grinding any German tanks at that time.
  • You cannot purchase the Mutz Special, or any token packs, with anonymous funds.  This does enable me to say no quite easily to WG, apparently they still do not want my money much.
