In that case, can you find someone that's willing to actually talk to the customers that have these questions? It's easy to pass stuff off as it's not your job, but actually providing answers (or people that can answer) to questions is just as important. We all know that WarGaming has a sordid history of not responding in a timely manner, which infuriates their customers to no end.

What is the problem with doing simultaneous transfers to multiple server clusters?

 

There are hundreds of European players awaiting transfer for over 3 months now and you're about to lose them. Our patience has its limit.

So when is the transfer supposed to happen. I logged a ticket to do the transfer ages ago and as per normal, WG never advices it customers. Has there been a date set and where can I find more info?

 I think that you just unleashed a massive DM wave at yourself regarding the NA to EU transfer. This happened also to Quemapueblos. Since he started the WoT Americas Server Merge subforum it took him almost half moth to recover and make a post.

Sorry for the slight delay in response, was getting in touch with both SEA and NA teams over the weekend to confirm specifics when it comes to some in-game concerns regarding account transfers. With that said:

  • If the absolute worst case scenario happened and Wargaming decided the ANZ server was a failure for one reason or another (and if it happened within 12 months), would WG even consider a transfer back to NA, or would players be stuck on SEA?
  • While it doesn't affect me personally, I see a LOT of angst on the forum from players irritated they cannot merge accounts - and I am very concerned this will affect the ongoing viability of the ANZ server, and impact the amount of players considering transfer. Is wargaming seriously looking into this issue?

 

I'm sure there's something I've missed, but some clarity on these in the very least would help.

 

 

  • The ANZ server population sits between 3-3,750 at peak times – between 10pm and 2am AEDT. These numbers are consistent regardless of whether playing on a weekday or weekend. From my experience the lowest average that I’ve encountered while playing has been around 2,000 which usually occurs only on the first few hours of a Monday/Tuesday night.
  • It appears the clan won't transfer over regardless of whether all members transfer or not. If there are members planning to stay on NA, transfer command to one of them and get in touch with us regarding compensation for having to set it up again.
  • The opportunity to claim female crew members will expire ahead of the scheduled transfer date, as mentioned already it would be in your best interest to claim the crew member and retrain at a later date.
  • All progress and stats should transfer unimpeded.
  • Based on reports from players who have transferred we haven't heard of any cases where mission progress has been affected, with that said this excludes any NA-specific missions, which obviously will be unavailable on the SEA server. 
  • Incentive has been offered, and will be claimable upon your successful transfer.
  • Transfer is a one-way ticket, we have no plans to go back on progress made with the ANZ server, and the numbers suggest that such a move won’t be necessary to even consider.
  • There certainly is angst on the forums regarding this issue, that is an error we both acknowledge and apologise for. Wargaming is absolutely looking into this issue and what we can do in regard to players who have been negatively affected by this miscommunication specifically; but as it stands we are only offering a transfer for the foreseeable future, and it has not impacted the viability of the ANZ server itself.

  • You will not receive a ticket as per standard WG CS procedure, if you would like to track the progress of your registration you can shoot me an email via the address in the OP, otherwise you can expect the necessary emails shortly after the 27th of November.
  • Thank you for bringing this to our attention, please do not create an SEA account prior to transfer if you're hoping to move over from NA. This is a procedure from a previous transfer and is not the process for the one we have in place, we will take this page down so as not to confuse anyone, all you need to do to apply in this instance is to fill out this form.
  • Creating an account on the SEA server with the same email as the account you're attempting to transfer will cause the transfer to malfunction, as two accounts can't exist on the same server under the same email. Please try to change one of the accounts email addresses and/or contact me to allow us to make note of your situation.
  • As mentioned, this is a transfer, not a merge. A successful transfer will move your NA account to the SEA server in the same condition it was in on NA, the process will not merge progress between two accounts for reasons detailed in this post.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, we are communicating this messaging on multiple days across forums, emails, social media (both on official pages and private groups) as well as the in-game portal.

 

Obviously we can't go around taping people's eyes open and forcing them to check official channels but we're hoping that communicating across the board over several days will ensure we can reach everyone possible.

I'm not trying to pass the buck by any means I'm just legitimately not across any potential transfer that I'm not directly managing (so basically, any transfer that isn't NA-to-SEA).

 

On the topic of providing answers to your questions regardless, I've reached out to the NA team and hopefully one of them should be able to chime in shortly either with a response directly to this thread or with information that I can then relay.

Hi Jay,

 

I am very glad you guys have re-opened the transfer window because I kept missing the last windows due to poor announcements.

 

I created an account on SEA in 2015, got annoyed at server population when I normally played so started a fresh NA account and have been playing, albeit with 250+ pings! , ever since.

 

Now with the ANZ server I am bloody keen to come back to SEA and make the most of 14ms pings.

 

However, as per your quote above, I don't want any server glitches stuffing up my transfer so I wanted to alert you to this fact - my NA and SEA accounts share the same email account. My SEA account I'm happy to be wiped because it has barely anything grinded out etc, I purely would like my NA account to be transferred to SEA with the same username and email combo even if it means eradicating the existing SEA account to make that happen.

 

I have just submitted the Round 3 form and I sincerely hope everything goes smoothly but if there is something I can do in the interim to make sure it works please let me know.

Shoot me an email just so I can make personal note that you've flagged this issue with us and keep in touch with you as necessary. Also if possible, start the process of changing the email on one of the accounts (doesn't matter which, though probably SEA considering you've already applied to the transfer with your existing NA email) so that's already underway when we come to addressing this problem.

As per the instructions on the SEA server link that I posted on my original post I already created a new account on SEA server with same email id which is used on my NA server account which I have requested for transfer.

I will drop an email to your email id so that you can specifically track it in case of any malfunction during transfer.

 

Though my newly created SEA account does not have any games played and I don't care if it gets deleted in order to ensure smooth transfer of my account from NA server.

 

Note - I kindly request you to take down any absurd invalid instruction pages to avoid getting people confused like happened in my case.

I have also made an Asia account with the same email. Would it be possible to just delete it since it possesses no tanks?
