As it currently stands the 32lber alpha buffs [and corresponding ROF nerf to keep the DPM the same] are a mostly pointless change and only serves to keep the gun consistent with the Challenger and Churchill GC. The 20lber will remain the better gun, with better penetration, much better accuracy, aim time, ROF and DPM.

This may not be the biggest deal ever; the AT-15 is also getting a reasonable armor buff too. It’s problem is that the American T28 is also getting a very under appreciated armor buff as well this same patch and, currently in the 9.21 test server, will have better mobility, better effective armor, AND a much more powerful gun with very similar DPM, better pen and much higher alpha damage. Also better cameo for what that’s worth in the current meta.

The AT-15 armor buff is nice, but its still trying to play the “heavy armor TD” Schlick that both the Ferdinand and T28 are also playing, and after 9.21 both of those tanks will still be much better at this role than the AT-15, even if the Ferdi’s armor is much less effective.

The 32lber should have its ROF and accuracy buffed so it becomes the actual dominant gun for this tank.

Not all tanks are created equal if they were we would just have the same on all with the only difference being their name.

Where in this did you read that I wanted the AT-15 to be the same as other tanks?

The problem with the Brit TDs in the 183 line, currently, is that they have good guns and dpm but they don't have armor or speed.  It makes them very niche, back-line snipers.  If WG wants them to be heavily armored assault/brawling TDs, then give them the armor (at least frontally) to do that. In the current iteration of the CT the armor buffs aren't to impressive.  The gun buffs, while nice, are not really addressing the problem with the line.

yes, but its main rival [T28] is already better and is also getting buffed, and will still remain better in almost every situation.

Only the main rival doesn't have an option of a near laser accurate gun as well. I enjoyed the AT-15 as it stands now more than the existing T28 for this reason, the T28 doesn't have the gun handling nor the turret traverse the AT-15 has.

The T28 and Ferdinand can't keep tanks permatracked like the 20lb'er on the AT-15 can. That's what makes the AT on par with those tanks. That makes up for the fact that it's slow and its armor is junk. You can buff the 32lb'er all you want, but the 20lb'er will always be the best gun for this platform. Having the highest DPM, and the ability to keep tanks from peek-a-booming by permatracking them makes this tank much more viable as a brawler than those other 2 tanks ever could be.

I don't see the ability to perm track as making up for no speed and useless armor. It's nice to be able to do but it hardly makes the tank a brawler.
