List of tournaments on RU servers:

List of tournaments on EU servers:

And list of tournaments on US server:

So any player why is interesting in tournaments just should play on different region server or play something else. Why? Just because us wargaming team cannot hire somebody to run tournaments after Dance left WoT. This is just perfect example of how us wargaming team worry about players needs. Better to run Tanksgiving Marathon to rice online then just up tournaments?

Are you working on tournaments software yet? How long will it take? Year or more? Why RU and EU regions have this soft up and running without  tournaments termination?  Will we get any answers after 6 months of waiting?  Or we just should forget about tournaments or maybe even about WoT like a game?

Your point being?  I mean, the RU and EU servers are teaming with people and the NA?  Well, there is no comparison now is there.

I think we have all come to the conclusion that NA is just the red headed step child of servers and WG simply doesn't care about us. WGNA staff don't have an opinion in WGHQ because we are only a fraction of game population. I'm waiting for the day I can jump ship and transfer to EU.

Why does he need a point. I have an account on the RU and EU server just so I can play in tournaments that use to be on the NA server. they were very enjoyable.

Sure there's that, but remember that NA was the only server to keep the T22 mediums.......

NA isn't dead but I do suspect this is where most of WoT's "Whales" reside. "Whales" allow Freemium games to thrive. You don't bite the hand that feeds you no matter how large it is.

If you don't know what a "Whale" is check out this link. https://venturebeat....re-just-gamers/

Dance didn't leave, she got promoted. She's higher up the chain of command now. CabbageMechanic replaced her.

It's not how many people that matter, it's how much money those people spend. I suspect NA gives the EU server a run for their money in that regard. There are a lot of poor nations in the EU.

Do you notice much difference in gaming performance between the RU and EU server?  Packet loss, ping, etc.?  I've about had it with the NA server and the packet loss since the 9.15 update.

It is not. Tanksgiving Marathon was available for NA server only for example. As I know there is high level of independence in regional decision of wargaming.

She was promoted to different WG project. The person after her didn't run tournaments as I can check o tournaments page.

Nice read on the whale term.  I had an idea what it meant but its good to read up on how the gaming industry sees it.  Trying now to figure how I size up compared to whales when it comes to using aquatic mammals as a scale.  Sea lion maybe?  An otter perhaps?  Hmmmmm....

I miss the 1v1 tournaments, but since Wargaming switched to the policy of squeezing the NA server dry of cash (e.g. the Feast bundle, which I honestly can't imagine a single person bought) they probably decided that non-Clan related tournaments were making it too easy for players to earn gold for free.
