New Tier VIII American LT.

T92 Light Tank was an innovative American light tank developed in the 1950s by Aircraft Armaments. At 18.5 tonnes, 5m length, it was designed as an airborne/airdropped replacement for the 5 tonnes heavier M41 Walker Bulldog. The T92 was never accepted into service.

This American is the first deal within this year's Advent Calendar Sale Event. Only available for limited time on Dec. 1st, 2017...

It will appear in patch 9.20....

Summary:

DPM nerfed by ~150 to ~2000

Hull traverse nerfed by 15 deg/s to 55 deg/s

HP increased (accommodating the tier shift from 7 to 8)

Engine power buffed by 75%

HP/ton buffed by 75% from ~20 to ~35

All other stats are kept the same (400m view range, about the same camo as Batchat 12t, even more maneuverable than the LTTB, it's a premium tank)...

TLDW Stats:

Original Video About T92 LT (1+ Year Ago)

EDIT:

it seems that the gold shells cost above average and spamming gold will be way more counter productive... ... ... so choose wisely if you are deciding to buy the T92 LT during this limited deal time span...

No, it's slow, the pen is also garbage

If you're going to be playing a light tank you should be playing it for speed, and flexibility, otherwise you're playing a seriously gimped medium, which is exactly what the T92 LT is

Also lol at 1000 hit points at T8, you can snap shot as much as you like, if you can't pen your targets it doesn't matter, if they pre-aim snap shotting matters a lot less. It's also much slower than the other lights so their snap shotting is actually better because they can get out of the way faster.

I haven't seen a single one of the T92's today perform very well, and it's obvious as to why, because it's just a gimped medium that does nothing well. It's not even average. If this was a T7 I'd say yes, but it's not.

In fact I would go so far to say that the T71 completely outclasses it and that's a T7 light tank, not a T8 light tank. T71 is more mobile, about the same size, has an auto loader, pretty much the same penetration, and is extremely flexible. It gives you what you want as a support assault tank rather than whatever the T92 LT is trying to be.

Edit: Basically sell this as a T7 with just barely nerfed stats and it would be worth it, as a T8? They didn't buff it anywhere near enough to be a T8 tank. In fact, they nerfed it while moving it to T8 because logics.

Is imaginary pixel tank in a dying video game worth any amount of your hard earned real life cash? The question sounds ridiculous to me.

My sample size is 1, at top tier, but I enjoyed it the game I played it.  It plays a lot like the old T71, which I enjoy.  To me, it was worth it.

I am sure there will be matches it struggles in, and there will be matches where it does well.  I play it a bit more on the assault side than on the scout side.  It was fun driving around in.

Check out the cost of it's gold round.  Look at its performance and then compare it to the Black Dogs gold round.

Nice way to nerf the premium potential though.

The t92 American light tank still debating whether or not to get it.

pros

-gun handling great

-great camo and view range

-low profile

-great terrain resistance

-high shell velocity and good dpm

-very maneuverable

cons

-100 engine health have to carry 2 repair kits cuz engine health 100 and any gun knocks it out, can get engine killed 3-4 times a game.

-no armor like all light tanks

-no pen 175 standard, 210 premium

-slower than other light tanks going max of 60

-premium ammo cost is very expensive 5600  for 150 damage compared to bulldog premium ammo costs 4400 and does 170 alpha

-left side gun hatch on hull makes gun depression -6 on left front side

-lower alpha damage 150

-lower hp than other lights of same tier

---------------------

-biggest downside 100 engine health, get engine knocked out by any gun many times per game

-high premium ammo cost, makes it less of a credit earner in a premium tank if you shoot premium

--------------------

biggest pro

-cost isn't bad for a tier 8 light, it cost is that of a tier 7 premium for a tier 8 tank.

------------------

will you enjoy this tank, depends, light tank require highest skill, so will depend on if you are a good light tank driver, as well games you have will depend on your team in scouting damage, cuz with tier 9 and 10 you gonna face most of time, that 175/210 pen will make you struggle if ya gonna go up against heavy armor.

It's basically a decent tier 7, at tier 8. So no. Not with a mediocre top speed, horrific engine module HP, and a subpar gun with hilariously bad economy for prem rounds.

Let's just say that there's a reason that it is weirdly cheap for a tier 8 prem.

T92 is fun like the amx 13 57 without the autoloader. traverse speed is ungodly @ 60.18

Power sliding has never been so satisfying and with a low wide body it is nearly impossible to flip. It also seems to handle 'Dukes Of Hazards' jumps.

Equipment slots for it are nice too. I am seeing vert stab, GLD and spall liner in my future.

Hot garbage. For a premium tank in this age it FEELS like WG remembered that premiums arent supposed to be superior or something....

Bad DPM, for a T8 LT, mounting a 76MM that does LESS damage than the 75MM on the BC-12T, its really quite silly to also give it terrible pen and a gold round that will make it burn through credits like Whitney Houston at an all you can eat cocaine buffet. Its got a 4 second reload for 150 alpha, at T8, meaning it'll see T10's all night. Its fast in a straight line, but soft terrain bleeds it all off in a hurry, at least it has good acceleration/traverse speeds.

Honestly, it feels EXACTLY like the T71 CMCD.

All servers have lost about 30-40% of their playerbase in a short amount of time. This game is definitely going in the hole, even the nay sayers are admitting 24/7 that the server pop is extremely small right now.

my guess they buff it a bit , at least the engine, and price will go up in 2018 maybe 10 bucks, so get it now if ya want it cheap.

Having played a week with the T92 I would say it is the least fun tank to play. In Tier 9 and Tier 10 games it is fairly close to being irrelevant as you can't reliably pen most meds and heavies even from the rear. The cost of the gold rounds makes it a very poor choice at grinding for credits.

Then you need to learn how to play it.  That pen is completely workable even in T10 games.  The gold round is very expensive, but as its only 210 HEAT compared to the 175 APCR silver round, you should almost never be firing the gold regardless of the cost.
