The only way the Advent Calendar be any good if the Tier 5   M4A2E4 Sherman is for sell.

It the only tank I want. It would be a good X Mas if I got that tank

Well, the Advent Calendar, WoT's and Christmas are just set up for you OP so I am sure that you will get what you want.

out of all of the tanks you could want.. you want a tier 5 sherman that is most likely outclassed now, probably has no pref mm and is something similar to the playstyle of the Ram II or M4 Improved.

many people tend to think that this is how the game is supposed to work

In WOT there are “Sherman players” who want every single variant of the tank regardless of gameplay attributes.  It doesn’t make sense to a lot of us but every hobby seems to have that subsection of people who hunt down very specific niche things.  I have a neighbor who is arguably the most passionate person in the US about vermouth of all thinks.

there's at least 10 sherman variants...

M4A3E8 Fury

Loza's M4-A2 Sherman (not out yet lol)

M4A3E8 Thunderbolt VII

Sherman Firefly

M4A3E8 Sherman

M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo

M4A1 Revalorise

M4A2E4 Sherman

Sherman III

M4 Sherman

M4 Improved

Ram II (not sure if this is a sherman variant or not)

I believe that was a Beta gift. If so, it should remain a special tank only the Beta players have.

lol yeah, that's not happening.

M6A2E1 was a beta tank but it was sold even though they promised it wouldn't be.

I am a little confused why the M4A2E4 Sherman is playable and purchasable in the tech tree for gold on the test server.

The Mutant was part of the pre-order package. There is a difference between a Beta gift tank and a Beta tank purchased in a pre-order package. I played in the beta stage of ships but did not play enough to earn the Beta gift ship. I should not be able to buy it later. If anyone can just buy them, why put up with the hassle of playing a game during beta testing?  The constant updates and changes are a major pain. I feel the same about CW reward tanks and reward camo. (But still feel the M60 should be researchable. Just not the CW reward version of the tank.)

Edit: Just checked. It was a Closed Beta Test gift tank. It should not be made available. Most of those players are gone now, but still it should never be sold.

does it really matter what type of beta tank it is between the two you described? either one shouldn't have really been sold again.

True, but one was available to anyone who knew about the game early enough and had the cash. The other required players be willing to play test WG’s game for them for free. That is the difference. The Mutant sale was definitely not a good idea. Selling the CBT gift would be a much greater slime ball move.

Selling the tank again for whatever reason would have been stupid after only giving it to people who did the requirement.

According to the tankopedia of the M4A2E4 Sherman..

This tank was awarded to players who managed at least 1,000 battles during Beta testing.

E4 Sherman would be cool, but I doubt we'll get it. I like Shermans and will buy the Loza M4A2 when it comes out.

Ram II is base on the M3 Lee.   So it not a Sherman  variant.  If they sold one beta  for one time why do another , just for one time and never do it again.  I have all the shermans that could be bought.  This lady like the shermans and has learn to play the them.   having the one more Sherman would be nice to have
