Just watched LemmingRush on YouTube and kinda disturbing to think WG would ignore cheating and account buying in plain sight. Thoughts fellow tankers?

Yeah someone posted it the other day on the forums...

And now he's Forum Perma-banned not 24 hours after he posted his post...

Coincidence? Doubtful...

I'd be careful talking about this, they seem to want to cover this up harder than the army covered up Roswell... :sceptic:

I don't really know if there is a way to tell if someone has bought an account nor would the resources required be worth it. However, I don't see how War Gaming is letting these programs go unnoticed. Whether it be the aim-bots, the enemy gun having a laser everywhere it looks, to the bot programs that are very obviously not people controlling the tanks. This should be able to be detected by the server somehow. They need to implement a more effective anti-cheat system than what is currently in place if this guy in question was able to run literally every illegal mod in the book and not get banned until he decides to stream it to a live audience.

The best way to do it is by removing all custom mods. WoT has enough preinstalled mods to help us during gameplay.

They don't care. It's obvious they don't care. I would tell everyone on here what I think, but I don't need any hassle from the "powers that be".

The trouble is as good a player and streamer that Lemmingrush is, WG are unlikely to pay him much attention what is needed is a high profile streamer/youtuber like Qiuckybaby to reach a much bigger audience including the EU/RU devs to force WG into taking action against this player and his clan of bought accounts

They don't care if you talk about this, you just can't name and shame the offender.  That'll get you banned.

Just look at the account marks. He has multiple tanks 3 marked currently barely holding 1 mark worthy.

If this isn't enough proof, go onto noobmeter and search him up. And 4.5k battles the account held 3.2k overall Wn8 and since has been on a massive downwards trend.

If you're an "anti-Wn8" player who doesn't care about that, check his other graphs even. His 63 near on 64% win ratio has dropped down to 57% with a still downwards trend, and his average exp has gone from almost 1000 down to 850.

I'm sure there's also a way Wargaming can go through the accounts logs seeing where the account was accessed from (i.p). and see how many other accounts match to that particular i.p address (half the clan )

"poisonousblood  I have no idea because, to be honest, I have no affiliation with my clan."

to be honnest first off all your clan should kick this guys [edited], you dont want to be affiliated with a player like that.

And second of off how can you say you are not affiliated with the clan you are their combat officer.

If you don't want to be affiliated, then i would leave a clan who want to have cheating members.

But thats what i would do, i would in no means be affiliated with such players.

Not saying anything bad about the clan, just saying if they have proof about a player being a cheater or bad company, KICK his sorry [edited].

They need a more stringent system for "allowed" mods in this game. Then have one place that is controlled by wg where the mod creators can upload their mods so others can download them from there. This way wg could control what mods are installed in their game. I am sure they could code the game so that these mods from the controlled website would be the only ones allowed to be installed in their game client.

Well i think the Clans also have a responsibility like a zero tolerance for cheating.

Also wargaming has to show that they mean real business, and show the community that he is getting what this cheater deserves.

But like i said also the clans can do something about this.

My thoughts are these: Cheating is BAD.... mmmmkay ?

Also;

1)  Why did the perpetrator let this video reach youtube ?

2)  Is he that desperate for attention ?

3)  For those players who are so upset about WG not doing anything... this video has been public for only a few days, right or wrong ?

4)  Is there any proof of WHEN the battle in question actually happened ?

5)  It is certainly possible that this battle was the first time the perp ever played with those illegal mods, therefore WG had no opportunity prior to that to "catch" him at it.

6)  I don't believe that WG (or anyone else) believes there is a perfect program that will always expose all cheaters at all times.

Catching cheaters is a long, drawn out process that is imperfect. Using draconian measures can cause more harm than good.

For instance, some players seem to believe that removing the "mods" folder and disallowing any mod use will instantly solve the problem.

In actuality, cheat mods that bypass the mods folder would be available the next day after such a change, it would just be a little more difficult for the cheat hackers to do.

Anything and everything that is client side can be hacked easily.

7)  Give WG a break... a few days to sort out what has really happened is not too much to ask. An instant knee-jerk reaction is not always best.

I use some mods...

I put my faith into Aslain as I have used his mod pack and read his boards for a long long time, and he puts a lot of effort into ensuring his pack has mods that should not get you banned...and he is a monster in the frequency of his updates to his pack after patches and in between...
