I can't for the life of me figure it out... The gun is horrendous on the thing. I shoot apcr and the ground gets my shots.  I shoot AP and it won't pen.  Not to mention everyone knows where to shoot me.  I am highly tempted to get rid of it.

It is a very frustrating tank. Just park it till they buff it, IMO.

Let's look at what they've done for the Lowe. It used to be horrible horrible horrible.

Marks are not based on how good the tank is, they are based on how well you do in it in comparison to others. Some of the "less powerful" tanks are easier to mark for this reason. It also means that some of the best tanks at each tier can be the most difficult to three mark.

Mine comes with a cool mod called "spectator mode".

By the time I reach 100 battles in mine, I will have either 2 or 3 marks.  But I don't care about marking tanks because that requires selfish stat padding. I just like helping my team try to win.

It's weird that a game that is supposed to be based on team play has so many "goals" that are individually based.   A large majority of the playerbase lives for this, which explains a lot more than you think.

Because it’s bad you don’t have to do as much damage per game as you would in a Defender. The secret is to play in a platoon with two other IS-6s and play so aggressively that the only thing the enemy can do is crap their pants.

My IS-6 is marked with the tears of its gunner.  The hit box for him is in a fetal position on the floor of the tank.

That's something everyone should focus on (myself included), if you are at an angle to track, and other friendlies are around and targeting the same enemy, track him, because you will get a percentage of all their damage, along with yours...

In the heat of the moment it is sometimes tough to remember to do it...just need to do it so often it becomes automatic...

So true...the LOWE is night and day what it used to be. Unfortunately, I played the hell out of it before the buff beating my head against the wall and ruining its WR before shelving it. Post buff its much better to play and fun now. WR cant be saved though...lol

Shelf that IS6 for a while. Dont sell it. Used the right way it is deadly but it takes a skilled touch and luck. Hold onto it.

It's been many years, but someone was talking (back in the day) about the OP IS-6.  We went to a training room on Malinovka.  Me in the Tiger II (Rammer, Vents & BIA - 8.5 reload) and him in his OP IS-6.  It is OP, so he has to come and kill the much weaker and outclassed Tiger II.  As soon as he is spotted ...

Track - Drivers Hatch

Repeat, rinse

Granted, this is a scenario tailor made to exhibit the weakness of an IS-6 vs. a Tiger II, but you get the point.
