I can recall only a few times over the years that the client has crashed. At least one of those times, I re-connected and got back into the game, losing only a minute or so at start.

This morning, the client crashed twice in the same game, then hung/froze, required a task-manager End Task. Nothing has really changed on my end. Ping started out a little iffy (130+) but settled down to my normal 30ish. Then it crashed right after roll-out. Re-connected, cruised up to the battle area, then crashed again. Reloaded once again to find my tank headfirst into a building, but after another few seconds, everything (but the sound) froze.

wthis going on? Anyone else seeing this?

What mods are you running? Have you tried deleting your mods and seeing if it still crashes? My game works fine.

I use Aslains pack with only a few hangar mods enabled, which I doubt could cause a crash in-game. But it has worked fine recently, no tech issues at all since the recent update. Then 3 crashes in 10 minutes.

I'm going to guess mods, try booting the game up in safe mode and see if it continues.

Actually, going through the Windows event logs, my guess would be graphics drivers. Maybe some driver updated behind the scenes last night. Going to dig in that direction for now.

Client isn't crashing for me but I constantly get disconnected the last couple days.

Ugh. Back to square 1... Is nobody else crashing at all today??

I updated the Nvidia drivers, then launched WoT in Safe Mode, just to be sure. About 15 seconds after the game start, client crashed again. Plopped right to my desktop with this thread up.

So I don't think it's drivers (they didn't update since 10/30 anyway). And it crashed in Safe Mode too, so it's not a mod. I have no ideas now...

I'd run the WG repair tool under Game Settings of the launcher.

This.  Upper right of the launcher, the little gear icon.  Then the support tab and integrity something or another.  It'll replace any missing/corrupt files.

Good luck.

LOL. But seriously, don't feed the trolls. I have no idea how auto-shifting crews and a 3-layer carousel are ban-worthy offenses, but some people want to blame everyone else instead of looking at their own actions.

Thanks - I never saw this window before!

It went through a couple steps of "analyzing data integrity..." and didn't warn me of anything. Cranking it up now. Fingers crossed.

Okay, if safe mode failed, it's time to delete your appdata.

Exit the game.

Windows start button, type in %appdata% select roaming, select Wargaming.net, select and delete the wot folder.

Next, right click your WoT shortcut, select open file location, find and empty the Updates folder (don't touch the updates data folder).

Then boot the game.

OK guys - thanks for the tips. The gear thingy at start appears to have helped.

I just ran two games without any crashes. My FPS is now 40 instead of 110, so I think it reset a bunch of stuff. Not sure what it did actually since it gave me no feedback. 2 games and counting!

EDIT: Wrote too soon. I got through a few games actually. Turned back down some gfx options to get frame rate back up. But experienced yet another freeze - though not a crash to desktop. I'm done messing with this today.

I have always had crashes when loading into battles.  Maybe 1 in 50 game or so. Generally have enough time to log back in before the match starts.  The annoying part is that when I log back in after a crash I’m disconnect from chat.  So I will have to religion after the battle to get chat working again.

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner.

Did this and have run several games now with no issues at all. If anyone else does this, make sure you remember your login info. Apparently another mod I use is auto-login ;-)
