You keep selling the E-25 few times a year a tank that is OP but dont sell the Type 59 because you think Type 59 is OP? That does not make sense. The Type 59 doesnt have OP camo or rate of fire.

It’s not because the type is OP, it’s not.  It’s because it’s intended to be rare.

But WG labels the E-25 as "Rare". As it said yesterday Rare E-25.

1 - It's not OP, Ide rather take an fv4202 in almost every situation over it

2 - it's a reward tank for doing something outstanding for the community/ special contest prize

3 - Selling it would be pissing all over the work heavy contributors do for this game

4 - It's probably the best credit printer in the game

5 - You werent here when they sold the type 59 years ago i assume? It was nothing but type 59's in matches for a whole week until  WG took them away and refunded everyone

and to answer your question: why does wg keep selling op tanks?

A - Because no one wants to buy balanced tanks. They make the t92, imo a far from OP tank, and then a bunch of reviewers saide "ehhh, probably not worth your money" ... so in response, WG naturally brings back "OP" tanks, since everyone wants them

Rare as in sold only once or twice per year.  The Type hasn’t been sold in many years, so it’s ultra rare.  Generally you can only win one.  I’d like one just because I don’t have it, but I’m quite clear it’s been power creeped a ton.

They missed mine... :hiding:

They did not.take the type.59 away from anyone who bought it. If they gave it away then maybe they took those back. But my type 59 is still in my garage

They never took it anyway from anyone who bought it unless they asked for a refund because the Type 59 is one of the only premium tanks that got a nerf.

1 - While it's not op it's one of the most balanced premium tanks after the recent buff. I would say it performs well beyond the FV4202.

3 - It wouldn't piss off most of us.. the tank isn't game breaking therefore not going to ruin the game for anyone. All it has is rarity!

4 - That is a long shot off of the truth. Even look at QBs top ten list for premium tanks that make the most, while the Type 59 is in that list it's far from the #1.

5 - You're off the truth and far off it. EVERYONE didn't lose the Type 59. Only the people who didn't like it after the nerf that it got was there a refund for that tank available. This is mostly why they don't nerf premium tanks.

people buy balanced premiums all the time because not everyone like you wants the game filled with broken tanks.

what rare means to you and what rare means to them is completely different.

while you may see E 25s commonly in game their definition of rare is based on how often they sell it, not by how many people own it.

The only way a tank is overpowered is if the driver does well in it.

E 25 is in no way OP unless the driver knows what they are doing and in most cases they do not.

1- my fv4202 begs to differ. I'm not talking about a shootout where each tank stands on open ground like idiots and shoot at each other without moving. ACTUAL COMBAT. If an fv402 used even the smallest of hills, the type 59's mediocre pen would have an extremely hard time going through

3- you don't speak for everyone. How do you know "most of us" wont be pissed?

4- so being in the top 10 doesnt make it one of the best? then i dont know what does...

5- . Sure they couldnt forcefully remove it since it was purchased with money. So what do they do? they nerf it to the ground to the point people will want their money back either way, resulting in the same effect

5- explain this then https://imgur.com/a/KV8xI

1 - In actual combat the Type 59 still excels in a lot of areas (https://tanks.gg/com...e-59?t=fv4202-p) and if you want to complain go ahead but for someone who doesn't even own the Type 59, you really shouldn't talk.

3 - Jesus christ, if you look at almost any thread asking to sell the Type 59 everyone is OKAY with it. No one is complaining because everyone realizes the tank is not overpowered. Balanced at the least. The only reason it's not sold is because of the rarity tag on it.

4 - You said word for word "best credit printer" while even adding "probably" to that statement, that doesn't fix it. It is by far not the worst but not the best when tanks like the Skorpion G or Patriot make way more now.

5 - What? Explain what? I am actually confused because you said EVERYONE lost the Type 59 and then you post a image of people playing it? Seems like you just screwed yourself over. Not only is that not you playing in that match but that is a super old patch.

For those that were here and those who were not here. The Type 59 was a Tier 7 power house tank. Many players purchased them and then platooned, forming deadly Wolf Packs. This was way before the physics patch, and it was brutal if the pack caught you alone. Many players cried foul and wanted wargaming to do something, and they did they moved it from tier 7 to tier 8, which hurt it's ability to dominate. Still players cried and they eventually removed it from the gift shop.

Truth be told the Type 59 now, is a shell of what it use to be, it had excellent armor and a decent gun. Wargaming never took them away from owners, because I still have mine. Crying about a tank that was openly available for all to purchase, just baffles me, but some people will take any opportunity to whine about something.

um.. please explain when was the Type 59 EVER a tier 7 tank? I've been playing as long as you have in fact even longer and when I first bought the Type 59 it was ALWAYS a tier 8 premium tank. I know you couldn't be talking about that in a statistically matter because the Type 59 always felt like a tier 8 tank even having premium matchmaking which should make it feel like a tier 7.5 tank. Doesn't feel like there's any truth in this post.

Not even the wiki has said anything about the Type 59 ever being a tier 7 tank at all which would have been said if it was (http://wiki.wargamin...ank:Ch01_Type59)

Describe how an E25 is OP please?

If it's simply because of camo rating and rate of fire, you should go to VB Addict or tanks.gg and look at the actual stats, or maybe watch a few reviews on You Tube.

Yes it has a ridiculously high rate of fire, so what?  It's useless to fire over 20 rounds a minute if you can't penetrate any of them.

It's also useless to have a ridiculous camo rating if all you can do is spot, because of the first point....

It's also a turretless TD with a fairly narrow gun arc.  That coupled with it's speed and travers and you have a tank that requires a lot of skill to drive well.  Like almost every tank in the game, in the right situation and with the right driver, nearly any tank will be "OP".  Likewise, the toughest tank on the board will be a boat anchor when driven by a potato....

The entire concept of OP in this game is really blown way out of proportion.  OP is a myth.  There is no such thing.
