Hi - sorry if this is a dumb question - I started using some skins that I found here and really like them - since the latest patch though, the in game camo covers the skin camo and makes a mess.

Is there a setting I can change in a file somewhere that will hide the in game camo? I want to get the camo bonus when I play the vehicles, I just don't want to see it.

Hope that makes sense and isn't something I should have easily found on my own.

cheers,

dave

The mod creator will have to change the skin they made to make all camo transparent.

With the new customization feature, having blank AO files isn't enough anymore, they added a blue channel to the GMM files, which also controls the camo and new paints. There is also an ID in the visual_processed files, right now it's just tier 8 premiums and all tier 10s, but will eventually be all the tanks. So in order to hide camo and paint, you need to black out the Alpha channel of the AO with one pixel being a dark grey, and then black out the Blue channel in the GMM. Or alternatively, if you have access to the pre-customization files, use the older GMM as is, since it doesn't have the blue channel pre 9.21.
