JagdTiger Worth the Grind?

Yeah, I heard about that issue. I'll go through the collection I have so far in an hour or so, and play some more this afternoon - should have some posted by this evening. I think Mow_Mow's in the same boat so I'll post them in this thread.

Edit: Oh btw guys here is a website a buddy of mine just found. http://www.site.ww2m...lica_Tanks.html That's right... they will build you a perfect replica of all German tanks, including the JT! Feel free to donate money to my papal account

holy ****, nice find! Except for the very nice price tag too (laugh)

My thoughts too, not so ready for a $500,000 investment in tanking...

I am off to buy some scratch tickets wish me luck!

Edit: I just found out the company is about an hours drive from my house lol. Maybe I can bribe them for a tour! I sent them an email asking about the JT pricing and how close to the real thing are they.

Has anyone actually tested in a training room the JT's camo with full skill and net on vs. without?

I'm curious to see if it makes a significant difference. Even 100m less detection is huge if it is attainable.

Supposedly 100% camo training reduces your spotted distance by about 50-60 meters. Of course, no matter what tank you drive, when you fire, you lose about 75% of your camo rating. (From what I've heard)

My bro is free Sunday as he works nights. I will test it out with him in a training room and get back to you.

That would be great. I'd don't have 100 camo (100 repair, 50 camo). Knowing an approximate value is very useful for holding your fire and waiting for that e 75 to swivel its turret around. Right now I assume I'm spotted unless their is a solid forest in front of me or a building.

Some useful numbers would be:

Totally behind and concealed by a bush with no transparency (someone else spotting for you) and,

Totally behind a bush with transparency (spotting for yourself).

Don't mind as much being spotted when firing, do mind being spotted like a silo on the prairies though when sitting still.

I'll do my own test with what I have, too.

I have 100 repair, 100 fire fighting, and 96 camo on my JT right now. So my results from the test will be pretty close to 100% camo.

Edit: I am just going to install a second copy of the game on my other hard drive and run two game clients at once. I will log into my account and his and test it out tonight.

Ok, here's about 75% of last night's TD battles (the rest were disasters mostly):

JT:
http://www.mediafire...aohx6nt6azeei48
http://www.mediafire...vp874e1zefl3zia
http://www.mediafire...qekoqvtbjcn6se5
Clutch braking is 22% in the Sand River match, it's not up to 100% yet, I think it's 77% atm. Also that new German camo pattern is nice. I think I'll get it for my real (NA server) JT.

T30:
http://www.mediafire...icsjo4lln7y1p0c
http://www.mediafire...9ews79s77dxkdys
I do have the driver using the dispersion reduction skill, but not at 100%.

T28 (played a couple of battles to augment about 250k free xp I converted   ):
http://www.mediafire...c7opfydi0ohog1a
http://www.mediafire...8gb62g37qkac7vd
I especially liked how I could troll that AMX 120, and I was afk to check the pizza I was cooking in the new map match several times.

T95 (all my battles in it so far):
http://www.mediafire...557aaf7xnhl5g95
http://www.mediafire...urqv8axcyoat0cl
http://www.mediafire...i8wdxvpc98z40y2
http://www.mediafire...t3nycqej0atuw74
Clutch braking started at 77%, it's up to 80ish by the end of the night (only 4 matches so far). The new USA fall camo is also nice. Finally some good camo patterns! Forgot to check the Russians.

I think with the new MM system, those truncated battle listings (<10/side) are going to be a lot more common, but I noticed no difference in spread in normal matches  <_<

As usual, looking for advice as much as anything else.

You wanted 7.2, you got it and more :D

Lol! Ok I will take a look at them tonight. Hopefully it will let me watch them with the client. I saw some screens of the new German camo and I like it alot. I may change out my JT camo.

Since you don't have to logon, I don't think the client will give you any issues. They loaded fine for me at least... ;)

Also, had to change a couple of links, two of my JT matches were reposts of the T28, fixed now.

Ok camo net test results are in...

w/o net I was spotted at 359m (in the open)
w/ net I was spotted at 349m  (in the open)

w/o net I was spotted at 139m (behind a bush)
w/ net I was spotted at 129m  (behind a bush)

w/o netting firing I was spotted at 399m  (in the open)
w/ netting firing I was spotted at 389m   (in the open)

I have 100% crew, 100% camo skill, and vents. My bro was using his E75 to spot me.

So basically all the net does is give the JT 10 more meters of camo in all situations. Imo it is worthless.

I did not keep track of when I could see him but It was over 400m on all tests.

I found it to be pretty easy to be honest. I play it like a Maus a lot of the times...a very slow Maus lol.

Speaking of the T95, here is a match I had in it from tonight...

http://www.mediafire...ca958s9yxyo6k6r

Here is 1 in the JT. I think I only had 1 kill but it was a lot of fun tag teaming these guys with my bro.

http://www.mediafire...jq03ipy3vuxox3b

OMG Classics

8 fer in the T95, you won the game for them, that AMX getting in your way was a pest, shouldn't even be up there on the TD platform, cant believe you bounced the 704 twice lol.

The JT looked like a fun game, even hit your Bro in the side when you were after that IS7, lucky you only took some paint off, The 704 really slammed one into your belly, was laughing as you were chasing him up the rd looking for revenge, nice shot on his ass as he was vanishing around the corner though, that sealed his fate.

Great games

Will catch up with the others later on.

Yeah it seemed like everytime I turned he was in the way lol.

I actually knocked out my bros cannon when I hit him. I fired, and he says over coms "really nice man... really nice" Lol. Yeah I was pissed at that 704 so I went after him looking for blood  :Smile-izmena:   Too bad though the amx got the kill as he burnt down to almost zero. Oh well. Wait until you see my 7 kill match I posted from this morning. That was one of my favorite in awhile.

Well that didnt work out well lol. I had to change the program that your replay used to the test server game and yoru first replay went along fine. Then when I tried to open another of my own replays it converted all my replays to 7.2 and now will not open with the current client lol. Fresh reinstall here I come! lol

Thanks for this. Camo net is no go! Behind a bush, how far? Right behind or back so you can see through in sniper view?

Did you set default program? If not it should work for you to set it manually. Besides, with the 7.1.1 coming tonight you probably won't even need a reinstall.

15ft behind a bush will mask your gun fire.....so by all intents & purposes, you should become one of those invisible Tanks we despise lol....
Course Cam rating goes up the more bushes between you & your Target, Tree's offer nil rating so I'm told, not even a fallen one, the good Cam we get in the magic Forrest is from all the bushes that are there.

Dont bother with Cam nets from Tier 7 German TD's, not worth wasting a valuable module space, I use the nets on Arty only.
