It took me a little to figure this out as I struggled to grind out Bonds today in a futile attempt to get my Tier X Reward tank (VK 72.01K.....wanted it ever since I first started in Clan activities 2 years ago). And as I thought about the issue of somehow making 2500 Bonds appear in the span of little more than a month, all while juggling a full-time job, a thought came to mind about why Wargaming is taking a while with the CW rewards this time around.

Think about it. How much of this community is in absolute anger and uproar over the ridiculous 4000 Bonds requirement to get a single Reward tank? This, surprisingly to Wargaming, caught them absolutely off-guard, probably thinking the Bonds-4-Tanks would make people believe the CW tanks were far more rare and desirable than they used to be. So right now they are trying to perform damage control. Clearly, the thought alone of extending the time to get Bonds was thrown heaved out the window when those who had no Bonds (like myself) prior to CW went on a riot. Now they need a new idea.

So....just give them time. And please don't berate veganzombiez. He is probably trying his hardest to find even ground with the higher-ups in Wargaming as they search for a solution that benefits both sides. My bet is that the extended Bonds time is simply to buy time as they figure out a decent fix for the bigger problem at hand. So let them do their job.

Well....back to grinding for Bonds.

I remember when we used to have to wait what seemed like 2 weeks, then u get it only to be disappointed in what u selected... impatience will only make it seem longer.

Because making the tanks 1k bond is too hard...

3,000 player in a top 50 clan gets 1k bonds, Done...

2,XXX player in a top 100 clan gets 500 bonds, and odds are they have at least another 500 bonds lying around from ranked... Done

Your 3k people got their tank, the sub 3k people got their camo, some people still get bonds, and everyone can go home happy for Christmas...

It's not that hard WG do the right thing fam...

I was freaking out about the bonds myself, but it seems pretty easy to grind bonds in tier 10s with the Christmas decoration event that gives +48% to credits, xp, and crew xp. I've been able to grind out about 300 bonds in a 5 hour session a day. That of course kills my credits then I have to go play strongholds on the weekend but it seems possible now.

Thats the worst part. I wouldnt be able to afford the grind for the bonds i need beyond what i already have if it wasnt for the +48% xmas bonus and a credit booster.  Granted, the credit booster isnt really needed.. but yea.

They're always slow when it comes to distributing prizes, I don't know why I thought it would be different this time.

i think you are all missing the point here.....previous campaigns you put in the work did the campaign and at the end of it......a shiny new tank.  there was no cost involved after the hard work of earning the tank.  and now?  i have the bonds already but im pissed that there is a bond cost AT ALL.  this is just more of wargamings [edited].  after doing a campaign and quite frankly burning myself out on this game lately because of having to be around damn near every night to ensure i got the tank then not getting to buy the tank on the day wargaming said youd be able to buy the tank..........yeah just [edited]off wargaming.  we already did the work to get the tank adding a bond cost to it is complete [edited]and everyone knows it.  show some shame for how you treat your players and take the bond cost of it.  we already earned the tank same as we did in the past.  we dont need to spend bonds on it after the work.  at this point youre just trying to promote the failed ranked battle mode and i really dont care for it and i know im not alone.

You can bet no one at WG has EVER participated in one of their own campaigns or this bond nonsense would have never left the discussion phase.  They kept an element of exclusivity in prizes by awarding bigger gold payouts for higher placing clans and fancier versions of exclusive camo for individuals- that's enough.  The tank should be freely available to all who qualified for it just like ever other campaign along with the bond payouts as an additional bonus. At the end of the day doling out these rewards costs WG nothing and MIGHT serve to endear them to a steadily souring playerbase.

What is your secret, Elevendy? I can't seem to get enough all tier 10 battles to get that in 10 hours. I suppose it'd help to not do it right after campaign when everyone's burnt out...

I'd like it if they gave out the tank to everyone, but those who had the bonds were able to purchase a second reward tank with them.

Wargaming ninjas on EU changed it: 10.1.5. The option of exchanging bonds for a vehicle will be available for the winners of Operation Gambit from 23.12.2017 through 31.01.2018.
