The original expectation did not include that the 3k players slated to qualify would NOT receive sufficient bonds to cover the "cost". This was learned fairly quickly after play commenced. I still find it loathe that the bonds I earned so painstakingly are now required for something other than their original purpose which was improved equipment and directives.

I am also pretty sure the original expectation didn't expect to give out tank licenses to 44% of participants, but it happened.  Think of the bond requirements as a way to scale the tank payout a bit, so that instead of 44% of the players that participated only 22% get it(probably more than that).  It is a catch 22 though, since if there was no bond requirment more players would have participated and the licences would have gone to the top 25-30% or less.

1500 bonds was enough to get the tank? Maybe...Get gud....at math?

Thats not what I was implying Hells and you know it. I had 4k Bonds before the campaign even started.

Then I guess that has nothing to do with your skill then does it?

bonds are earned primarily by performing well in tier 10s in public battles. Greater performance = more bonds

But sure yea I guess it was all luck and no skill involved

Clearly you've never seen a bot with a tier 10 tank???  Some prefer quantity over quality.

Just because you have a T10 tank doesn't mean you will earn any bonds. So your argument is invalid.

That's not true.  If you're on a winning team and literally do anything more than sit afk at the cap circle you will get at least 1 bond.

But anyway back to the actual topic, how does having bonds before the campaign even started make you "gud"?

This is worse.

Let me figure out how this goes,

Let's see, average battle is ~10 min

Being generous I see all 10's or Grand Battles ~50% of the time

I am in a winning game about ~50% of the time.

I can get say ~8 bonds a game.

So 40 minutes 8 bonds, 10 minutes 2 bonds, 5 minutes a bond.

I still need 1300 bonds

6500 minutes

~110 hours

30 days left

~3-4 hours of grinding tier 10's a day, EVERY day.

I just finished a 30 day grind, it's how I got the chance to buy a tank.

Now I have to do another 30 day grind to get it?

This is absolutely crap.  If I do manage to grind them out I'll be so sick of playing WOT and tier 10's that I'll probably just quit playing entirely for a month.  I certainly won't want to play any campaigns again, not if it is Grind for the campaign and then grind for the tank after.

It isn't a reward its a penalty that now forces me to grind 3 hours a day or my first 90 hours is wasted

Yeah , Im hoping (slim hope) that WG will pull their head from their ....er "sand" and admit they messed up with this goofy bond situation....

Im at 2800 now...but calling it enough..... just impossible to get bonds at a rate needed to collect a reward you won ....rofl.

If WG even thinks ill play in ranked battles....for the next campaign reward...... prolly not .

Have a nice day

You'd nee to average 46 a day. Totally doable. I need 55 a day myself and find that it's just possible.
