I don't know about hardest medal to get, you need to get lucky I think, if you can get it in a tier 4 Pz38 Na by sheer luck, is it really that hard?

replay below is a good example, red team was stupid (including myself) and didn't cap out and a pz38 got the medal.

I wonder though how many of these were earned in tiers 5 and under...?

I got my Fadin's in a tier 5, an SU-5.

Got my first Kolobanov, in an IS-6, it was not the "cool" way of destroying everyone, but won on assault, was defending and time ran out. I was the last tank, there was five of the enemy team left.

It is the most situational. You have to have done MANY things right to get it.

I did many things wrong and got mine plus the first Radley-Walter's and Pool's on Lakeville a few years back.  I was caught out in the open, in the field on the low side of the lake (West) with a dead driver and a gimped engine with no kits left.  Lucky for me, they came one by one.  11 kills total in my BDR, the last six as last man standing.  My best game ever.

3 Kolo's for me.  Churchill I, T-34-1, and Pershing (all tanks I hated, go figure).  All by kills, no capping.

1 Pool's, in a stock... whatever the tier 5 Swede medium is.  Got my only crucial contribution medal in that game too, platoon mate had 4 kills plus my ten.

Kolobanov is so hard mostly because of Arty, I always end up against 2-3 tanks with Arty and just can't really fight and outplay them and Dodge the clickers at the same time

No, I watched an afk tank, afk the entire battle, get one as the lone survivor in assault mode.

I've got 5 Kolobanov medals, all of which won having to fight it out as I turned Assault mode off the first week it was introduced.  I think it is one of the hardest to get.  It takes a blend of all your backup melting away, and your enemy not being able to coordinate enough to tackle a solo player.  View range and positioning become imperative.

I have 1 Pool's and 1 Kolobanov's after 6 years of playing this game, but I still feel good about them.

Pool’s medal remains a difficult one for me. Never really a big deal, but talk about a kick in the junk when I see someone who’s supposedly skillfully challenged with less than 7k battles rocking one or two Pool’s.

I have 5 kolobanov's medals.  Two stand out in my mind.  In one, I was in my Type 59 and they had more than 5 tanks left.  It was on the Karelia map and they were all slow tanks.  I managed to sneak on their cap while they were almost exactly in between the two caps, so they could not get to either cap (going up hill) in time!  It was clearly a sneaky steal of a win.

In the other, I was in my Stug III and I parked behind the bushes overlooking the cap.  The players on the other team graciously came in ones or twos to the cap and I picked them off.  I had to do a lot of relocations so that they could not figure out where I was.

I don't remember the others though.

I guess if you play enough you just kind-of fall into situations where those medals are in play:

I've got 10 Kolobanov's and 2 Pool's medals.   I thought the Fadin's or De langlades were harder, but I guess you could bake off the last few rounds in order to get to a situation where you could finish off an opponent with the last shell - but you're taking a risk of a low roll or RNGesus bounce.  De langlades is situational where you have to have a four opponents capping in order to have a chance to kill all of them.

Although, hands down, I'm most proud of my 68 Dumitru's and Pascucci's medals.  Doing my part to #remove_arty_from_the_game !
