is there a way to remove the [edited]chorus singing death songs at the end of lost battles? I turned off garage music, but it seems it is not enough. and after 5 days of losing if I'll have to hear those russian [edited]morning for long, I'll go outside to punch little puppies.

Kick one for me too. As my loss rate is about 60% I'm getting a dirge mentality. :(

the only other thing that I unchecked was the damn commander voice. tierd of the impotent scrubs telling me they didn't penetrate! and that was actually a very good thing, it reduced the stress level in the game by a lot. at least until you have one of those days when you keep ending up killed by guys you failed to destroy because the killing shot rolled way too low in pen or damage, or hit the dirt, or, my favourite, when you aim at 90 degrees the side of a huge german heavy or td and the damn shot misses all that barn-sized lateral and goes to the left or to the right and just autobounces of its damn frontal armour. you know, because it's a game of skill +/-25% randome [edited]

OP I have ambience and battle music turned off (set to zero as there's no "off" setting) so I don't get any music.  I thought ambience was background noises, but since I don't use any of the music (garage or battle) or ambience I'll defer to the earlier poster.

Never thought of that lol.  I sometimes have to play on my toaster laptop and I'm not sure when they added it but there's now a low quality setting which also may help low-end computers because it doesn't process as many of the sounds simultaneously.  I know enabling it helped mine.  It's now decent enough not to have to disable all sounds, but if it gets worse I'll consider turning them off.  That will suck tbh, but it is what it is like the saying.
