Hi,

In game, XVM shows the average Wn8 of players over their entire World of Tanks career & was designed as such. Players typically improve over time, and as such, their overall statistics are never up to par with their recent statistics.

Now, rerolls basically erase those early (unskilled) games. Unlike most, their overall Wn8 is no longer weighed down by thousands of subpar games. As such, the Wn8 of a reroll cannot be compared to a non-reroll player or unicum.

Unless reroll statistics are compared to ''recent'' statistics via websites such as WotLabs, they can be quite meaningless. For instance, the in-game XVM tool does a poor job comparing them to other non-reroll players.

Am I wrong? What does a true unicum think of rerolls?

*Also, rerolls with worse recent than mine should stop calling me trash as I'd make a better reroll ;). Oh, and I do grind my tanks stock... and without a premium account!*

Why does it matter?  Just play the damn game.

Tell me why you even bother posting? I think you should take your own advice.

why in the world does this matter so much to you...just play the game and have fun.  I get called a reroll at least twice a day when I do better than someone.  I do not play this game enough to worry about how well someone does.  I finally installed xvm a few days ago to figure out what the big deal was and immediately uninstalled after my game looks like a bowl of fruit loops cereal or like someone used crayons to write down the win8.  uninstall xvm and stopped worrying about everyone else's stats.

Isn't it strange that people complain about stats and call them unimportant? Why are they so worried about something that they feel is irrelevant? Does that not make them relevant by their own admission?

What's interesting is that the biggest complainers about re-rolls and XVM in many cases post an XVM sig.

Stat obsessed? Yup.

Hypocritical?

You be the judge. I call yes, you may differ.

I'm not saying they are irrelevant. XVM is quite useful to judge the skill of your/their team. It helps to make good decisions. I was pointing out that comparing reroll to non-reroll stats are like comparing a poodle to a labrador. Two dogs... Quit different.

A better reroll who'll still be blue?

And I'm just saying.

How to you qualify a reroll? Is it just your opinion based on those stats? So are all good players with good stats and a low number of games played a reroll or just labeled as one by you?

ALWAYS labeled by the person who's getting "outplayed" by someone who is better.

XVM has no use.

Why do you care about other people’s stats so much? If they want to see purple all over their account then let them be. You look down on those that re-roll insulting their obsession with stats, but here you are obsessed with stats at the same time. Why don’t you follow your own advice.

problem would go away completely if xvm merely counted the stats for the last 5k or 7500 games...vs all time.

I doubt anyone personally gives a flying flip about any normal players first 0-10k games while they were learning how the game worked.
