There was no ausf.K model.  Nor were there plans for one.  The Germans only continued to build the Panzer IV because they needed every tank they could make.

Ausf J was the last model.

Hes got quite a treasure trove of PzIV Variants and proposed variants including a sketch and model of aforementioned Ausf K.  Plus many many others.  Love the last few TDs proposed tho.

"Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. K1
(Projection) n.a. n.a.
It is a mystery why the Panzer IV series was never upgraded to Ausf. K, using the sloped hull front of the Jagdpanzer IV. With 80 mm of sloped frontal armour, the Panzer IV Ausf. K would have extended the useful life of the Panzer IV series of tanks. The reduction in nose weight solves the bogie wheel problem as well as the associated transmission e steering problems which plagued the uparmoured Panzer IV. This modification could have been issued as a field workshop upgrade kit for the Panzer IV Ausf. G to J series. Doing so would have been easier e cheaper than designing ed introducing the new Panzer V (Panther) series. This projected vehicle may be converted using parts from a standard Panzer IV e the Jagdpanzer IV, it would be interesting to test in a simulation game.

Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. K2
(Projection) n.a. n.a.
Standard factory version of the K1, fitted con smoke dischargers.

Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. L
(Projection) n.a. n.a.
This projected vehicle should have had the entire hull front redesigned to 80 mm of sloped armour. The corresponding weight saving would have solved the suspension problems, ed it would have allow the torretta front to be uparmoured to 80 mm. The gun should have received a fume extractor on the barrel, copied directly from a captured American M36 Jackson tank destroyer. The fume extractor is a prerequisite for the torretta uparmour conversion, otherwise the built-up of smoke inside the torretta would render the tank inoperable very quickly. The Panzer IV had ventilator openings in the torretta front which had to be kept open in combat, effectively preventing a torretta uparmour conversion

edit: Notice I did not edit the Italian "torretta" to turret :)

Another reference mentioned a study that would have used the basic hull of the Jagdpanzer 4 with a larger turret on top.  -edit

Personally i would love to see this added as next after PZIV even if the line ended there.

I also wanna see this in the panzer IV ausf.k in the update, since we already have a lowe, VK series and other prototype in the game, i think it should also be in the game.

This, it seems like the III/IV covers this niche pretty adequately.

yes it does have some resemblance of panzer III/IV but panzer IV ausf.k is different from it, just like panther looks like panther2 but they are entirely different tank.

Panzer III/IV is shorter than this Panzer 4 and much faster with less armor. Although the latter two I am unsure if that was in the original design idea of the III/IV or was entirely the devs tinkering in the 6.4 patch.

I would say though that this tank would have similar front armor to the panther but like the panther and unlike the III/IV the front armor would be more solid without that JP4 type of slope.

Meh it's still an interesting tank I would like to see.

Nice model pics. I have to agree that the Panzer III / IV does seem to cover this niche already. Perhaps add it if they implement an ability to modify the hull(i.e. the skirt armor on the Panzer IV H) to make the Mk IV better armored?

The Panzer III/IV does probably cover the role effectively. In addition to that, something about the history is interesting. The Ausf K would have been based on the hull of the Jagdpaner IV. However, wasn't the Jagdpanzer IV built upon the Panzer III/IV chassis?

This might not fit in the tech tree very well, but it would make a nice premium tank.

yeah, if it doesnt fit in the german tech tree maybe they can put it in the premium tank department, hope they make it with armor side skirt and turret skirt.

It has already been stated that in the future skirt armor will be made available (or at least the devs have talked about it) for vehicles that had it. You have to realize this game is a work in progress and may take some time to get certain elements added to the game.

On another note, that website sure has a lot of TD's that we haven't seen yet here in WoT. Would make for an interesting expansion.

The Jagdpanzer IV was built on the Panzer IV chassis...hence what it was called the jagdpanzer IV

Actually, the Panzer III/IV was an attempt at simplifying German tank development. No such tank existed, but the chassis, based on the Panzer IV's was used for both the Jagdpanzer IV and the Hummel.
