And what it does to the END of the butter knife!  There's a REASON we call it a BUTTER Knife and it's not for turning screws, dammit!

I feel you, man.

GL, HF & HSYBF

As a counter to that, try putting peanut butter on your toast with a screwdriver. :amazed:

Read it.  Then I got a mental picture of that.  Thanks for the chuckle. :teethhappy:

And we're supposed to believe that you're a 53% player... Sure

Standards are evidently lower on console.

Sounds like you're using your superheavy as an arty with armor.  Or a low damage turreted TD with armor.  So you've got the tip of the spear and you're using it to try to start a fire with sparks in the hopes of burning your opponent, rather than stabbing them.

Every now and then I'll see my wife use a butter knife for a screwdriver.  She finds my reaction amusing every single time, and responds the same way every single time: "It works, doesn't it?"  Nevermind that if it strips, I'm the one who has to fix it.

Your jokes are funny.

Indeed, my gameplay in my Maus is 'different'...but I have found it is effective, for me.

Tell her to push harder...the butter knife is an effective tool and I didn't have to go out to the garage.  ;)

Better link your profile, then, because the username you provided does not turn up a profile on the WoT console site.

I see a similar, but somewhat different strategy for staying alive in randoms. The players will stay behind rocks or hills all battle. I was playing my first game in T-28 E30 on Lakeville, when I was getting shot by an enemy tank on the lake road from OUR end of the road. I was headed to town and trying to use the buildings as cover as I shot the 3 tanks who had come through the lake road and were now just sitting there less than 75m from our field.

I get killed. Then I click around to watch our remaining players, and it turns out there's a T29 just sitting at A5. He and/or at least 1-2 other teammates SHOULD have been firing at the enemy tanks who managed to come nearly all the way across the lake road, but instead, they didn't do anything.

Why do I point this out! Well, obviously, by NOT actually damaging or killing the enemy tanks, he managed to STAY ALIVE LONGER! Granted, he died at the end of the battle, but its not about the kills, damage, xp or win, it's about living as long a life as possible(in your tank)! Lol

Sadly, you've taken my words out of context.

My argument/play is intended to produce actual XP.  Hiding alone and living doesn't do this.

I am promoting the idea that it is better to track opponents, and use the Maus as an impenetrable bullet magnet, as your teammates pour hot metal into non-moving targets.

Instead of a pushing brawler, I am the rock that the wave of enemies breaks against.  My damage rating is indeed low, but we win, and I live, thus gaining more XP than dying.
