I never paid any attention to the holiday freak show of the WOT Christmas garage; this year.

I'm proud of that.

I am not about to even try to figure out how best to decorate trees or what ever; rather then launching every shell I can into the enemy tanks.

I love Christmas don't get me wrong.

I fail to see what putting ornaments on trees have to do with tank warfare, nor ever want to.

P.S. I found almost every battle I played during the holidays to be so unfairly matched; it made me reach a new low of what I think of WOT game play. Is there a connection between that and trimming trees in the WOT garage? Only WOT knows.

I started this forum ( http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/567552-i-walk-the-wot-narrow-road/  )

because of the last forum entry I made: http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/567363-coal-for-christmas/ That forum entry was about me ignoring all of the Christmas event. I did this by not playing high tier tanks. This made my entire holiday miserable; as far as game play goes for WOT. That would definitely be a reason for turning players away. Tons of seasoned players play tier 2; they just won't say anything about it like me.

The harder it is to play WOT the more you want to play and the more you want to learn to play; that is the way it was for me at first. That will never turn players away.

WOT never rewards low tier tanks with anything; almost never!

That is the real reason my stats are not that good.

WOT also uses MM against; all them that play low tiers.

Low tier battles are so unevenly matched that whole teams get sweeping victory, after victory; with all tanks left alive, at end of battle and all tanks killed by opposing team. I have seen this so much it must be MM to blame. This is so common that it must be MM totally to blame.

The reason they do this is to cause people to spend more money.

The most economical way to play WOT is in low tier battles.

I think the number one reason players got mad at this forum entry is because they use mods: (no mods are officially supported by WOT unless WOT or their affiliates creates them) The other reason people got mad at this forum entry; I think is because, they have multiple accounts.

I made this, I would tattoo it on my arm if I could.

Made some improvements:

Well, it can be annoying, but the 48% bonus in credits and experience is well worth the trouble in my opinion.

THere is a direct correlation between that and the fact that every mouth-breather who has enough $ to buy a Tier 8 premium with 126 battles plays during the holidays/school breaks.  I did a study on this 1 years ago.  Red/Orange player base increases by 15-20% during holidays/school vacations.  Exacerbates blowouts.

Maybe try to play better rather than complain about events.

For minimal effort you will end up with
1. 5, (Maybe it was 4) 2 skill female crew members (commanders for my sad little tanks without 6th sense)
2. Some great credit discounts on tanks that you get to pick before you even have them researched (for example 50%/40%/30% on 1 each Tier 8/9/10) that the system will hold for until you can buy them.
3. Great credit, xp and crew xp boost percentages depending on how your tree is decorated and what you have in your collections.  A permanent 40%+ bonus for xp and credits for the whole event has been really nice for the bottom line.

Really for almost no effort you make out pretty well.

Unless you're using WoT as some sort of military training, then it's just a game that's all about entertainment.  Leviathan had nothing to do with warfare either, but that was a really neat Halloween event.  Christmas and/or the holidays are celebrated even during war, so you're not missing out on any realism there.

The great thing about these events is that you don't have to participate if you don't want to.  In truth, it's better for the rest of us if you don't take advantage of the 48% bonuses, the female crews, the extra credits, the tank discounts, the free camo, etc.  I need all the advantages I can get over other tankers and with the bonuses plus boosters I've been getting from the missions, I've been able to grind up (and AFFORD) 3 additional Tier X tanks just over the holidays.  The January Centurion X On Track will give me my 5th and final Tier X and then I'll be completely set.

Additionally, if you're not going to be disappointed when you don't get a Tier 8 Premium Tank, my holiday boxes have ranged from "a really good deal" to a "super amazing beyond my hopes kinda deal."  Dropping a little cash for crates is also recommended by me, and I NEVER DRINK THE KOOLAID or want to support WG when they're acting like boneheads. Right now, they're not.

I hope you figure it out.

Good luck!

With the emblem sale, free tanks, 48% bonuses, etc., I'm absolutely loving the Christmas/holiday events. I've cranked up my credits to more than 17 million, despite buying and equipping a bunch of tanks and stockpiling a ton of consumables. I'm going to be sad when that 48% bonus ends. And I'm not a good enough player to notice a drop in quality of games over the past month. They seem the same to me.

Once again, thanks WG!
