No matter which way you lean there is no hard evidence to support creation or the big bang, both of which are equally fantastical.

In six days a supreme being creates, where nothing existed, a universe and all the subatomic particles that make up all the atoms that make up all the elements that make up all the matter in the universe today.

Where nothing existed an explosion occurs which creates a universe and, within a second or two, all the subatomic particles that make up all the atoms that make up all the elements that make up all the matter in the universe today.

Both side are a matter of faith, however, since is starting to edge out religion for being more factual.

The founder of the big bang theory was actually a catholic priest.  Scientists scoffed at his theory for quite a while because of this, but eventually the evidence pointed towards it being the better theory over the steady state universe.  It's entirely possible what religion refers to as creation is the big bang theory, just stated in other words.

Finally got the chance to watch this and I wish Oprah had conducted this better.  Her questions were jumping all over the place and nobody was able to tell a full coherent story.  Too little time was given to Dr. Mack to say what he wanted to say.

Have you heard of the Zimbabwe incident where 60+ school children witnessed UFOs landing and had contact with the beings inside?  Dr. Mack flew over to Zimbabwe to investigate it.

BTW these children have now grown up and are still saying the same thing.  Some of their lives were altered forever.  For example, one girl grew up trying to avoid technology as much as possible because one of the beings told her that too much unchecked technology and progress will destroy the planet.  Several of the children said similar things were communicated to them.

Eyewitness accounts from children. Cool story... tell it again.

Makes sense, Dr. Mack's point of view regarding the abduction phenomenon was inspired by Dr. Vallee's research.

There is no abduction "phenomenon", there are some abduction fantasies though.

Maybe Bigfoot is real... maybe Nessie is real... maybe monkeys will fly out of my... well, you know...

keep fantasizing if it entertains you, but I enjoy reality more.

Block Quote

First came the nonsense of Cupid flying through the air.  Then there was the fairy tale of Pegasus, a winged horse.  Next came the fabled Arabian carpet.  And the bit of flummery about a flying stork that dropped babies down chimneys. We ask you to gather under our banner and combat the myth that man can, did, or will ever fly, except in his or her imagination.

I'm curious. How do you know for a fact its a fairy tale? Do you have some hard evidence to support this claim?
Considering it was written hundreds of years after the death of this prophet by the  reining rulers to keep people in line with no factual basis.

We were talking about the Bible not the Koran. As to the Bible most of it is based in fact which has been verified over and over and its more than just one book its an entire library full of books. Think of the Bible as the cliff notes for Christianity that is passed out to the common folk to use as a guide. The actual history and knowledge is kept in various religious libraries around the world. Also your statement isn't hard evidence it's just conjecture based off what you personally believe.

^^ So certain are we?

"The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world, the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt."

- Bertrand Russell

Harvard University's Dr. John Mack learned of the abduction phenomenon and doubted it.  Yet he did something quite dumb.  He took the scientific route by actually studying it in order to debunk it as a form of psychosis.  Stupid, I know.  It would have been so much smarter to just instantly declare it as pure fantasy, 'cuz muh reality'.

Back in the 2000s I bought the Babylon 5 TV series. I started to watch it for the first time last year but only got to the 4th episode of season 1. I kind of forgot about it until it was mentioned in the Alien Intrusion video, or something I read about Alien Intrusion, so I thought I should start watching Babylon 5 again. I just finished watching the last episode of season 2, the episode were Kosh reveals himself.

:great::great:

Excellent show and the story is one of the best around. Season one is a little rocky but thats true for most shows but immediatly takes off on season two and is a rollercoaster of highs and lows and joy and hopeless situations.

For those who have never seen it or want to watch it again go here for the entire series for free. :B

The first planets beyond the Milky Way may have been discovered

More Than a Trillion Planets Could Exist Beyond Our Galaxy

National Geographic

Scientists have long been unable to find exoplanetsplanets outside the solar system—beyond the confines of the Milky Way. After all, our galaxy is a warped disc about a hundred thousand light-years across and a thousand light-years thick, so it's incredibly difficult to see beyond that. But now, a new study is saying there could be extragalactic exoplanets.

The study, published February 2 in The Astrophysical Journal Letters, gives the first evidence that more than a trillion exoplanets could exist beyond the Milky Way.

Hardly surprising.  With the way they're finding out how solar systems develop, it could possibly prove to be a rare event to find single stars without some sort of debris around them, which could probably develop into planets.  Not saying never, because almost anything is possible.

Yeah it just goes to show how astonishingly little we know of the universe.

That's why scientists keep studying it, after all.

Those supposed ancient Mexican artifacts are really interesting.  IIRC there were some very old cave paintings in Australia that looked similar.

Reports on this don't follow the normal hyper maneuverability and acceleration of the typical ufo sighting. It was going very fast in a straight line which points to a highly advanced terrestrial craft. Who owns it? That's the question. Could be a deep black ops program most of the military have no clue about or possibly chinese or russian as both countries have military technology they ain't sharing publicly just like we don't share. Remember the f-117? No one had a clue we had a working stealth aircraft until it was used the first time. Even then the only reason it was allowed to become public knowledge was that it was already more or less obsolete and the f-22 and b-2 were nearing completion. Who knows what new toys we have now or are in the last stages of development. All that money poured into the f-35 program had to go somewhere since audits show it was't going into the pockets of the contractors.
