There have been at least 2 revisions that removed paths to the T-54.

For a while, one could go through the tier 8 T-54LT to get the T-54.  When WG expanded the LT lines to T10, they seem to have removed any connections to the T-54 from the line.

Similarly, one could unlock the T-54 from the object 416 until this update.  Now one can't, and there's considerably less reason to go up that line than there was before 9.22.  No tier 10 is acessable from it right now, and no way to know when the new 10 will show, or how good or bad it will be.

I'm not sure what other options might have existed beyond these 2, but before their removal and the buffs to the T-44, both were considered easier grinds than the path through the T-44.

Quite right, 2 changes to reach it thus far with the single approach not having changed at all.  Still a much easier go straight through the medium line than risk changes as it is.  Unlike the 13-90 which is on it's 3rd tank to unlock from it.

I can see the attraction of the easier grind, but it's lazy.  Just as well go through the medium line to being with and learn it's traits as the other 2 have a more drastic playstyle change.

Moving the goalposts now are we?  Well, learned that from WG I guess.

I too thought I be getting my full amount of credits and exp that I worked when I ended up having both in my garage now I get squat which is total BS when every other tank that was removed went to premium status. I ended up putting a ticket in to complain as they did not specify that they would not compensate if you had both and if I recall from past changes they did compensate if you had already both but that was a long long long time ago when WG was awashed with cash...

It isn't a swap if you already have the tank they are swaping...read the post.  I have the Obj 263 and the SU 122-54.  So...when the 263 moves to Tier IX I get the Obj 263 4 added to the acct.  THEN....since I already have the SU 122-54 I get the Obj 263 added to the account....but gee....it is already there....then the SU goes away.....so I am out all the research and silver for the SU 122-54.  Think you follow....or should I type slower?

Put in a ticket. Wargaming NA has decided that, since it didn't say anything it in the patch notes, there is no reimbursement for the losing both tanks in the update. Quoted below.

Hi 3BAC,

Thank you for contacting Wargaming support!

We appreciate your effort in contacting us regarding your concern with the compensation. We understand that you wish to be compensated for the lost tank. However, the compensation is done automatically, and the amount of compensation is determined based on the changes that will be made in your account. Since this is automatically credited we will not be able to compensate you with the other tank, since there is no statement that you will be compensated for the removal of the other tank.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. Should you have any inquiries, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions

Have a great day!

Best Regards,

Kenneth Arkwright

Was working my way to the Obj 430. Had the Obj 430II. Now im in the wrong branch after about a year of grinding. They should have given us the tier 9 from both branches. I asked them to switch it but they said they cant.

They told you they hold the right to change how the tanks are did they?
