* If you try to scout without six sense, you will get seen and die very shortly.

* Most of the light tanks don't have very good penetration to sit back and become a TD for a while until they have six sense...and do no damage.

* Your PR will probably go down since you can't get good damage and you'll die a lot trying without six sense.

Without Six Sense, you can't go "spotting" for your team and hope to live.  Scouting for the team is usually near the front lines, if your behind the front lines...then your not really scouting.

The only way to live in a light tank without six sense is to stay back and hope a TD or Arty decides to drive in front of your gun (end game).

way before this game had a light bulb go off to let you know we used common sense.   If you spotted tanks they saw you and you got out.  If a tanks turret was swinging your way you got spotted.     You might want to try the common sense perk first before demanding something for free

All the common sense in the world won't help you if a tank can see you and you can't see it ... and it shoots you.  Just getting seen as a light tank == doom.  Even if you happen to be lucky and make it out of that area with half health... you still have that possibly you will be seen and shot at dead before you can even react.

Common Sense can't save you and you'll end up having to be an moocher of the game instead of being a useful scout.

Do you have any idea how many light tanks there are in this game? Just about everything below tier 4. I don't know why you would limit this gift to light tanks either.  With the lack of camo and view range, heavies need it more.

Sure you can.  If you're an active spotter just always assume that you're spotted and stay mobile.  If you're a passive spotter, understand how bushing works and what the spotting points are on tanks (also, not shooting tends to help).

Even 6th sense cannot help in this situation. 9/10 times your dead before 6th sense goes off.

There are tankers out there that can shoot you on the run, so if you don't see any tanks on the field...you won't know exactly how far away to stay from them.

It's already hard enough with six sense to stay alive the whole game as a scout.... staying alive and scouting without six sense is nearly impossible for those of us average players.

I've even heard from another topic out there that Six Sense is standard on console and blitz.  Is that True?

You need to learn to not rely on 6th sense.  When it goes off, you've already been spotted and there has been enough time for someone to draw a bead on you and potentially get a shot off.

Common sense would tell a typical tanker that you always assume someone can see you.  So yes, common sense can save you.   Like someone else stated.   If you can see a tank there's a good chance they or someone with them can see you.  Just because you're not being alerted that someone sees you doesn't mean you can't be helpful.  Once again, as stated, active scouting is effective too.  You won't need to worry about 6th sense if you do this because you're pretty much 100% guaranteed to be seen.  You just have to know how to expose yourself at the right time to avoid a shot from someone that could be tracking you.  Using common sense, of course.  Instead of being frustrated about not having a split second to be pre-alerted about possible doom learn how light tank mechanics work so you don't have to rely upon 6th sense.

And yet there was scouts and scouting LONG before 6th sense was even added to the game.......

Do you realize that you could earn up to 4 female crew members with the first skill/perk at 100% (not counting the SIA) on this Christmas Event?  You could have easily earn all 4, made them all commanders, and set their first skill/perk to 6th sense.

When 6th Sense goes off, it's not telling you to move, it's telling you to clench.  The shell's already coming.

bushes are so 2014.  there's this new thing called hard cover...

also, if you're scouting you're looking at the enemy.  how do you not see turrets turning?

Why do people want to make this game easy mode?

Sure, give all LTs auto. 6th and refund me all of the XP that I used to earn them.

hehe.. Always someone who wants something for free..

Aside from the "No, go earn it if you want it" argument, there is also the "if it goes off, you have already been spotted for three seconds, and that is also about your remaining life expectancy" argument.  Common sense is more important than some alarm saying you have overstayed your welcome.

For some real fun how about getting rid of 6th sense entirely. Imagine such a thing.
