any more crates. all they are doing is taking you cash. its a waste now. it was only good the 1st couple of days. anything now you get only gold and MAYBE a premium time with silver.

So GOOD LUCK on that! (pay to win woowoooo!)

Sorry to disappoint you.

A clannie pulled a Type 59 out of a box today.

I got a Skorpion G from one of the 25 boxes I bought yesterday. Not exactly the tier VIII premium I was looking to get but alright. I feel dirty just for owning one now.

I bought 11 boxes about 3hrs ago and got another one of those goofy looking Aussie Tanks (I'd already won and sold two of them). Also ended up with 3 garage slots, 2 auto-extinguishers, 2 large repair kits, 4 large med kits, 2 more days of premium, around 3,500 gold, and 500,000 silver.

Worth it? Don't know, don't care. Just figured I'd buy one more set before they dropped them.

If you would have kept the first one you would have gotten the gold value (1200-ish) instead of the silver credits for selling them.

"Game publisher Activision has already patented a way to drive in-game purchases by manipulating "matchmaking," or how players are paired up with strangers in online multiplayer games. This week, eagle-eyed YouTuber YongYea deserves credit for discovering a similar, though not identical, matchmaking-manipulation scheme being researched and promoted by researchers at game publisher EA. The discovered papers emphasize ways to keep players "engaged" with different types of games, as opposed to quitting them early, by manipulating their difficulty without necessarily telling players. These papers were published as part of a conference in April 2017, and they indicate that EA’s difficulty- and matchmaking-manipulation efforts may have already been tested in live games, may be tested in future games, and are officially described as a means to fulfill the "objective function" of, among other things, getting players to "spend" money in games."

I got 11 boxes for $25, and in those boxes I got the E6, a 40t, and a second 40t that rolled over to a 59. Along with gold, silver, and premium time. I figured it's a good bit over $200 worth of goppds, all for $25.

This has by far been one of the best events WG has ever done.

And let's be real here, some people may never buy anything from WG all year long. If that's the case, save some money for Christmas, show the game a bit of support and at least buy something during that time. Game might be free to play, but it's not free to run for WG.

Yeah, so? It's not against the law, and if you don't like it, don't play it. No one has a gun to anyone's head telling them to play a game, or spend money on a game if they don't want.

It's no different than a casino, they keep you winning just enough to keep playing, but not enough to take money from them.

With that said, I find it VERY hard to believe WG could pull that off. The only way they could do it would be to stack teams constantly with unicums vs tomatoes. Anyone with XVM would have noticed that straight away, wouldn't be hard to tell. The other way would be to manipulate every players stats during the game. Give one side better odds at penetration and higher damage values, or give the other team lower, though I also see zero evidence of that going on.

This is a game of chance, sometimes you get good teams, sometimes you don't. Sometimes you can get that clutch carry off, and sometimes it's just gg. Sometimes loot boxes pay off, and other times they don't.

These conspiracy theorists are generally the same people who don't spend a dime on the game, or when they do don't get what they want or what they expected and blame everything else. I bought 11 crates and didn't get a 59, WG is screwing with it blah blah blah. I bought a Tier 8 premium I don't know how to play it yet and I am getting beat every game, games rigged, WG are cheats blah blah blah.

HA! You know what I mean though. It's just nonsense and conspiracies about WG rigging matches.

I just bought 3 Soviet crates for $5.99 so I could have facts to post.  I "only" got 1,500 gold ($7.98 at normal prices in the Shop), 200,000 credits (500 gold or $2.97) - and the very last Soviet level 5 ornament I needed to complete the set.  Without the ornament the contents alone are worth about double what I paid, making this the best deal I've seen from WG in the time I've been playing.

Bigger picture, I bought 3 boxes during the first few hours of the first day of the sale and in box #2 I pulled a Type 59 (I posted a picture at the time - I think I was the first to bring this to people's attention).  Since then I've bought a few boxes here and there but only pulled Tier 4 tanks.

Do I think that the tanks were better on days 1 and maybe 2?  Yes, yes I do.  I think Wargaming purposely front-loaded this to build hype and sell boxes.  It worked.

But even with what you get now in the boxes it's still a great deal.

If you are able to spend some money, don't have trouble with supporting WG (I don't have an issue with this), and plan to continue playing the game - buy boxes today.

- Brian

I bought 50 boxes from WoWP and 75 from WoT on December 23 - hardly within the first couple of days.  Wouldn't buy anymore now, not because they aren't "worth it", but because I got so much in those boxes there's nothing left to win I really want or need.

Just purchased the 25 soviet box (wife will kill me later)  but I received the Type 59, Lorraine and T26E5.  Plus 9 days of prem, 10,000 gold (now I can go ahead and unlock the T100lt) and 2,000,000 credit.  Well worth it! Oh, also gold for a lower tier prem.

I took one more chance last night and bought 75 modern. It yielded 30,000 Gold, 4+ million silver, 60 days premium, tier 8 non skinned Patriot, garage slots and all the Trinkets.

Hardly a bad deal.

I purchased 75 boxes yesterday and I received 70,000 gold, 6 garage slots (I own all the tanks in the Christmas promotion), 5,500,000 credits, and 54 premium days. Four of the gold reimbursements were for Tier VIII tanks, it is clear to say that this was a very good purchase when comparing it to regular shop prices. This has been the best promotion that WOT has put on since I have been playing this game, thanks Wargaming. See y’all on the battlefield.

wargaming paid him 1500 gold to type that ..
