Warpack isn't a big issue in this game. If you think cheats are really affecting your experience, you're wrong.

What's happening is that you're worse than you think, and you aren't able to accept it. Denial, in one word.

Pretty sure seal clubbers are more detrimental for new player retention.

Hacks are low on the priority list of WoT problems. More important things: The 3/5/7 mm template needs some tuning or throw out that template and replace it with 5/5/5 or something different. Balance of premium ammo needs to be addressed as well. Why don't they add over-penetrations to the ammo mechanics so that if your ammo has too much penetration, you do greatly reduced damage (i.e. the shell passed completely through the tank and did minimal damage). This would force players to choose the correct ammo for the situation instead of just spamming gold ammo all the time.

They will never remove hacks from any online games, they would lose too many players.  Unicums will also always deny that any such hacks exist.

How many plebs believe in "hackers": ~32%

If you were to ask those plebs how many hackers were in the game, they would basically say "Anyone who is better than me is a hacker"

How many "hackers" actually play this game: 0%

Server side hacks don't exist, "cheater mods" are not a major problem, the only problem here is when bad inexperienced players fail to realize that just because they are beat by a better player, doesn't make that person a cheater.

I think you had a slight grammar mistake, I fixed it for you.

Very succinctly put. OP no need to look for other responses beyond this.

Over-penetration sounds like a sensible idea.   It should improve the game.

How about 3/6/6  for the templates.   It'd keep the top tier from overpowering, and lessen the number of times we all are bottom.   We'd be bottom less and middle more.

Oh yeah, and it'd lessen the top tier tank's edge somewhat.

I believe WG should make a pay to cheat system similar to WP and then the problem will be solved...:P

I'm not sure how much warpack is used in the game.  Much can be explained by game mechanics.  Three examples that can lead to the conclusion that I'm using cheats:

1.  I often play TD's.  I have a pretty good idea where to put my tank where I can't been detected due to bushes.  My Stug III, for example, starts with a high cammo rating, has a 5 skill crew, each with 100% cammo, I have cammo paint, and cammo netting.  You're just not going to see me shoot you.

2.  If a tank is moving in a straight line or if it's sitting static, I might sometimes make a guess as to location.  There are some common bushes/locations where light tanks or TD's might park.  If there's nothing to shoot at, or if a shell comes from the direction of a certain bush, I'll drop a shell or two into the area if only to flush out the tank.

3.  I'll play sight range games.  There's a delta between view range and detection range where players can play in the open.  So if there's a tank spotted by a teammate, I'll keep that tank in view range, but keep out of its spotting range, and shoot with impunity.  This is my M.O. with the e25, for example.

In my TD, my entire play style is designed to shoot while unseen.

No, cancer is a disease that kills you.

Re-rolls and seal clubbers only make you stronger.

I'm sure there are a handful of cheaters, there always are in every game.  I'm guessing there are a lot more accusers, though.  Just as an example, I never use any mods at all (play vanilla) and I get accused of hacking like once per week.  Last night some guy swore that I shot him from outside the view or draw range.  I have no idea what he was talking about, I think he was within the draw range and didn't realize it.  I've also blind-shot people outside the draw range before, so whatever.   Anyway... He was a decent player with like 10k-20k battles so he should have known better.

You see people accusing others of hacking all the time... it's usually in error.  Either way, I'm pretty sure all illegal mods/hacks are banned and the people that use them get banned pretty quick as well.  There's always some that slip through temporarily.
