Before anyone this is a rant, it isn't.

I've been playing up up the current IS-7 line and for the most part enjoy it.

However, I can not truly express my utter pain at the what I call the Russian RNG. (though I'm sure I'm not the first one to call it that)

The missed basic shots, abysmal low rolls, the pens that weren't meant to be (even though it should of been one) and the constant ammo rack damage makes me one sad tanker.

Are there any lines that don't suffer from this or am I out of luck?

I thought most conspiracy theorists believe in "Russian bias".  You seem to be claiming "Russian lameness".

Yup. Wait a min. Very soon "russian bias" apologists will start whining how IS7 branch tanks ruined thier entire life.

I'd call it Russian unpredictably, probably more fair. Since it can both over and under-perform.  If anyone knows of something just simply consistent, I'd be happy.

KV2 doesn't need to aim. Stalin just gives the shell hand guidance.

the feels when you attempt to aim in an IS-7 and can't hit a target 100m away. . .

I've experienced the same thing in my IS.  It started a couple months ago.  Now my tank is known as a renowned killer in the earthworm community.

The IS3 has frontal ammo racks. I think the racks on the IS7 has frontal racks too except it's right near the front idler.

Soviet tanks have always had "Soviet accuracy" (ie bounce or miss entirely at near point blank).

You aim, let the reticle close down tight, you drop the hammer and the round flies into the dirt 3 meters in front of the target. Next game Stalin apologises and your snap shot from 300 m while on the move scores a one shot ammo rack. Go figure?

Still my favourite line. Although the Chinese are closing in.

Well I'm glad this is true for everyone. I've laughed at your responses. :) But the question remains,  is there a line that doesn't suffer form this sort of thing.

Waaaait, people keep insisting there is magic Soviet bias that makes these tanks send their shell perfectly into enemy weak spots all the time. Something is off, do you have a portrait of a russian leader printed out and hanging above your computer? Are you wearing a fur hat and fortify yourself with a shot of vodka before you start gaming?

But in more seriousness - play tiger I that thing has a gun that is pure joy. At least it is for me.
