How I Would Balance New/Changed Tanks in 9.22

Disclaimer:  The changes I propose are by no means perfect, and may not even be necessary, but that wont change the fact that I like to think that they are.

 

After reading through the patch notes, being on the test server, and looking at tanks at: https://tanks.gg/ , I have come to the conclusion that WG hasn't done the best job when balancing statistics of vehicles being added/changed in 9.22, and I have decided to state what I would change about them to make them more balanced for when the patch goes live.

 

My stat changes are on the left, with the original values (as of 9.22) on the right.

 

 

 

 

T-54 First Prototype

Decrease power of the V-44 engine to 640 h.p.;

From 760 h.p.

 

 

T-44-100

Decrease power of the V-44 engine to 640 h.p.;

Increase dispersion during movement to 0.15;

Entire side is sloped in excess of 65 degrees, making all shots auto-ricochet

From 130 millimeters (210 effective)

I'm not sure the SU-100M1/SU-101 need any armor changes, as I found them sufficiently bouncy when hull down, but at the same time not so immortal that they could just sit forever in one location. Too much armor on them could easily be a bad thing.

To me your suggestions would make them a bit over powered. The armor on the test server is good so I think just focusing on the guns for the TD would be best

 

SU-100M1

  • Buff DPM to about 2,400
  • Buff dispersion to about 0.35

 

SU-101

  • Buff DPM on the 100mm to about 2,500
  • Buff dispersion on the 100mm to about 0.35
  • Buff DPM on the 122mm to about 2,350
  • Buff dispersion on the 122mm to about 0.37

 

Obj 268 V4

  • Buff DPM to about 2,700
  • Buff dispersion to about 0.37

 

For the Obj 263 it just doesn't fit the line visually, they would be better off swapping it for the Obj 268 V2 which would suit the line better but keeping the same modules on it. That being said;

  • Buff DPM on the 122mm to about 2,500
  • Buff dispersion on the 122mm to about 0.35
  • Buff DPM on the 130mm to about 2,600
  • Buff dispersion on the 130mm to about 0.37

 


 

For the Obj 257 it's more a matter of just removing all the ghost spaced armor. The only thing that should be changed is the arear at the back where the transmission is should be changed to actual armor, This would provide a weakspot when it's side scraping an allow for tracking shots to also damage the enemy
