The tier 10 wasn't the problem why this line was unpopular, it's mostly because of the tier 7-9s.

I would suggest to nerf the new tier 10 and put it in as new tier 9.

This was asked by a lot of players, who grinded the Obj 263 for what it is. Here's my vote to keep it unchanged as well.

the 268v4 has a better armor profile though. 263 struggles when not hulldown cause lower plate is actually awful. the thing that saves the 263 is that you can usually out DPM anything trying to slug it out with you.

but the version 4's gun is so bad that the only thing it has is that ridiculous armor profile that forces gold spam. Not big on this tank because of that

Or better yet, cancel the line change entirely and just buff the tier 7-9's depression and gun sweeps. Perhaps shell velocity as well for good measure. The new playstyle that they're trying to impose onto the line is stupid for a couple of reasons. One is that the combination of no turret, weak sides, and sluggish traverse will make it impractical to use tanks like these for pushing/brawling because you could just use a heavy instead and basically get the same advantages without any of the drawbacks, or at least fewer of them. And secondly, the very low DPM makes it difficult to fulfill any of the other TD roles. One-trick-ponies are only interesting if they have that one trick in the first place.

people wake up.  this has nothing to do with the popularity or lack there of, of the 263 line.  this is about money.  they know how many people will spend gold to have it early no matter how bad the reviews are on the tank.  why do you think they have been changing so many tanks?  offering free ones if you have it in garage?  they know people will start these grinds to get a "free" tank and will get tired and spend gold because of the time crunch....probably better and easier for them and probably makes them more money than releasing another OP premium.  EVERYTHING they do is calculated.  game design?  meh.  business men?  brilliant

If this was the reason they would change the tier 10 while giving the Obj 263 as a special tank as that's the most likely way to generate the most income. What WG's done is by no means the best business idea they could have had

The 263 is not being given as a special tank, son.  Maybe the 12254 will be in 3-6 months.

First of all, if you don't like the changes, don't play the tanks.

Secondly, if WG is changing a favorite tank and you no longer like it, then sell it and play something else.  I am having a ton of fun in the M5 Stuart and it gets my recommendation esp if you spam gold in it and since I have over 40,000,000 credits and over 10,000 stockpiled consumables along with 20 tier 10's in my garage, I can afford it, LOLLL.  I do have the 50/51, T92 and T57 Heavy unlocked I have yet to buy which will give me 23 tier 10's and yet I am playing the M5 Stuart, ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thirdly, what is wrong with WG changing a line to encourge players to free XP to the tier 10?  How does that hurt the game?

Lastly, this is an arcade game based on reality, not a sim based on reality.

Thank you for stating the obvious, father.

But unfortunately I wasn't saying it was staying at tier 10, I said WG would have made more profit IF they had kept it at tier 10

While that is true, it changes the gameplay style most players were grinding it for. The new tier 10 is good in its own environment, but that's not what I wanted at least when I started this line. Obj 263 was a pretty unique tank, unlike some copy-pasted ones.
