When people first started talking about the ELC Even, I couldn't find it on Wikipedia, or anywhere else. This morning, I found it immediately, after seeing more posts about the tank, and deciding to look again.

Does WG have someone who writes Wikipedia articles about Tanks? Just curious, because most of the Tanks in the game can be found on Wikipedia, even if they were just a concept that never even left the "Paper" stage of existence.

Having been using Wikipedia, and donating to them every year (because I like the idea of it), ever since it first came into being, it's quality, content, and accuracy of information has increased greatly over the years, even with some of the more "obscure" topics. That being said however, several years ago a lot of the Tanks in this game would never be found anywhere other than specialist/niche Armor Blogs, or websites dedicated to Armored apocrypha. That's what makes me wonder if WG has someone adding these weird/odd Tanks as they get released into the game...

LOL, it is really about the same size as the compact cars parked on both sides!

Odd that all the Youtubers bad mouth the EVEN but in game I see them doing very well. Maybe looking at stats and two games on the China server is not a good basis for a review?

Well...like most prems, lotta unskilled players are allowed to buy them, but I saw them a LOT yesterday, and they struck me as quite effective (AND, nigh impossible to hit...prolly half the size of the 41/90)

Often people will wiki something that they just heard of, discover the wiki page lacking or otherwise not existing, and will update/create it themselves. A game like WoT with a lot of the tanks being based on existing models/designs that were largely unheard of will easily foster interest in these things and information will propagate as people do research that never would have happened without the game.

I think it might be really good in the right hands, a complete failure otherwise.

Yeah, didn't really think about that, but it makes as much sense as WG themselves doing it. Especially if it's a player that lives near the museums that house some of these odd-duck Tanks.
