At 100meters a light scout should not be able to light enemy tanks while behind hills that visibly they can not see.  This is common as well, lighting a tank that is on the opposite side of building. In reality nobody can see through walls.  This visual system needs to be changed.  In a general sense of location vs precise location needs to be added as a mechanic to the game.

Thus, I can hear a tank from the other side of a building does not make it accurately visable to the rest of the team to a pin point accuracy.

Any tank will proximity spot any enemy tank that is LESS THAN 50 meters away (not 100 meters).

It's a game... not a simulator... not totally realistic... get used to it.

WG is not planning to change everything about THEIR game to suit you.

At 50 m or less, the concept is that you may not be able to see the tank but you can certainly hear it - hence it is detected and so are you.
