It's the best tech tree tier 8 premium, taking into account the current power creep and MM etc.

It’s a fun tank. I did good in it when it was slow but it’s a little more fun now that it’s faster.

with the most recent buff it is a very competitive tank even against 10s...the gun is really good.  and it prints money

One of the best.

It is the best tier 8 premium in the game.

Have you even been bottom tier and wanted to tell the top tier tanks to go home so you can have fun? The Lowe wraps that message on 10,5 cm rounds.

I think its decent, its still pretty slow. Like its not really enjoyable for that, but its reliable, which is what u hope for in bottom tier games. Though the defender is coming up for on sale the 22nd, so...

The Lowe is VERY Worth it.....       Yes, it's Slowe....      But the Armor on the Turret when you get the Hull Hidden or even Angled just right will Shock even Tier 10 Guns....     And the Gun, it's Accurate over Range and it Pens Frequently at Ranges most don't...       And IF you should happen to have to Load the Good Stuff, most any Tank in the Tree can be sent Back to the Garage....

This Tank makes Credits easily, even in a Loss, even using the Premium Rounds, and a Good High Damage Game can keep the Coffers Topped to Capacity.....         It's one of my Go To Tanks for Credits and when the Teams get too much ro deal with, this one puts a Smile back on my Face.....

Löwe = credits.

Even in a loss, and even using some premium rounds.

It is a fine investment and it makes a good trainer until the super-heavy size tanks.

its a reliable tank that performs well. the gun is excellent and you have some relevant hull down capabilities and side scraping potential. plus it has a decent hit point pool.

If only fighting t8’s a defender or another newer t8 Prem heavy may be better, but if fighting higher tier tanks it it the best. Very good view range (same as most t10’s), very good accuracy (for hitting weak spots or sniping), very good gold pen (for laughing at type 5’s), good turret armor, good at side scraping. Sure it’s a little slow but most heavies are.

Thanks guys, I was going to get the Defender, but its gun handling was not really appealing. I thought of the Lowe because it has good pen and an accurate gun.

Gun Handling on the Defender/252U leaves much to Desired....    That Tank is a Bully Plain and Simple. It needs to be in Reds Face to work well....      I have the 252U and the hardest part is getting into Reds Face alive, it gets Focused Hard....

The Lowe is definately the Better Buy where that's Concerned because in a Pinch, it does that Job too.....

Löwe is a pretty sweet ride, actually. It's still slow, but it was considerably buffed a few patches ago and now has better armor, better gun depression to help it use that armor, and better engine power that allows it to actually relocate and keep up with a push. Really the only thing it lacks is DPM, but it has to have a limitation somewhere or it would simply be a straight-up better Tiger II, which it arguably already is, considering its advantages. Especially for an older premium (which admittedly has been shown a lot of love recently), it is still a reliable and competitive tank in its tier, and a great crew trainer and credit-earner. Definitely worth it.

Löwe is a good tier 8 heavy and a great tier 8 premium and don't let anybody ever tell ya different.

I agree with what everyone is saying so I'll add this to the discussion. Its a great money maker and crew trainer. I can't tell you how many millions of credits this thing has made me since I first got it. I lost count a long time ago.

It is a fair tank, not as slow as it used to be. It can be deadly effective if you use Premium Ammo, otherwise the pen is a bit lacking. What makes it useful is the two cash registers it carries on the back deck. I have ground out Millions of credits playing it.

These aren't Top Notch Player games, these are just me....      I tend to put myself Places that I probably shouldn't be because at the time, they SEEMED like a Good Idea or were Needed to be Done....

Honesty even with power creep the Lowe is the one tank that still stands above the others at tier 8. It may not have the T34’s alpha, or the Defender’s armor, or the DPM of the Caern but what it does have is a little of everything. Engine power is around 1000 and while you don’t go fast uphill expect 34 KPH on even ground even if it’s offroad thanks to the tracks. The Traverse is liveable as long as you don’t let yourself get flanked. And sure the DPM is only 1600 but while it is rather saddening it’s strenghs more than make up for it. 234 Pen and 294 APCR pen, 320 alpha, insanely accurate even at long range. I think of it as you being a precision machine. Like a surgeon with a needle or simply poke and prod at weak spots. The Lowe wouldn’t be able to do this without armor either. Frontal armor is solid but the band at the front weakens it. Luckily that doesn’t matter. The Lowe can sidescrape like no tomorrow and the tracks will eat so much damage for you. And not to mention the -10 gun depression and the legendary turret armor on the thing. Yeah sure the cheeks can be penned by a lucky gold shell but it is more than capable of holding off tier X’s with that turret. And the accuracy allows you to drain a tier X while receiving no damage in return. Just being patient is really key to unlocking this tank’s insanely high potential.

The Lowe is still a good all-rounder hvy with a good gun. Works well in a support role when you're low tier as well. sLowe for the win!

Hands-down, it's one of the best premiums. It's been mega-buffed to the point where the frontal armor is shockingly good. Everyone goes on about the Defender and Patriot being OP (they are), but the Lowe is a far better tank than the Tiger II in every respect.
