the "HD" is still more like a cheap "HDR" instagram filter.

 

the lighting and shadows are unrealistically harsh, especially on the maps where there isn't any direct sunlight, you render the shadows as if the sun was not only full in the sky, but half the distance to the earth...

As a lover of music, the soundtracks to the maps are absolutely fantastic. Sand river with that driving drum beat just makes me want to have it on all battle. It gets me pumped.

 

BUT... incoming damage sounds are still borked.  Nice improvement  on the graphics from first test to 2nd test. Things are crisper and less washed out.

Missing the incoming damage sounds and TBH I turn the music off, just a distraction.

Just in a game and halfway through all sound cut out from left speaker. Came back on in garage, just like the bug we had in the live server.

You may want to take a look at the rock at A1 on El Hallluf.  It gives a pretty substantial benefit to the north spawn can't really be used by the south spawn, i.e. the north spawn can use it to shoot down the A line but the south can't use it to shoot down the 1 line.

A couple of things for me at least. Anything not in the foreground is blurry and has a red blue color shift. The whites are completely blown out and distracting regardless of the gamma setting. The background looked dropped in and the color does not match anything on map. I have a 1070 and 1440p monitor so maybe something on my end. Updated graphics drivers and same thing. It just looks worse than the regular game. Do not see an option for anti aliasing so maybe that is it. And honestly I re ran the demo and it looks nothing like 1.0 that we can play on. Anyone else with these issues.

40 maps in the game. Players still dont know how to actually play on half of them. Still wants more maps. No thanks.

1.0 looks great. Still an absolute mess tank balance wise... but it looks really nice.

first off I like the new encore engine wow for the graphics 

scored a 15,390 on the encore test

mobo asrock 97proz3

cpu intel 4670k

16gb ram 

640gb hd 

240gb ssd back up hd

radeon xfx r9 480 8gb 

 

but have a major glitch when zooming in screen goes to florescent lime green cannot aim

at all

Able to get into some battles on the Common Test and all I can say is [Wow] - excellent FPS [90/100] with 350ms ping - no rubber-banding, etc. in game.

 

Really looking forward to the release so I can play on the NA server instead of trying play on a server across the pond.

Still have the intermittent issue with sound cutting out mid battle.

The red border line is invisible. Can be deadly in a "running for your life " moment.

this was a problem with dead tanks floating above craters, people complained about it so it was fixed. Stop whining

A lot of ambient sounds are still missing.  There's nearly no audio of items falling onto your tank, especially very heavy items that would be impossible to notice, even for a deaf person.

 

There's also no audio of dirt falling onto your tank when a shell lands nearby.  Things like this turn an okay ambiance to an amazing and in-depth one.

 

Also, personally I'd like to have a little bit more control over the specific isolated audio channels.  Just having everything about the tank fall under "tank" instead of treads/ground and engine separately, while collisions and gun shots fall under "effects" doesn't allow for a good feel for those of us who are more audio reliant.

Not impressed with any of it, and definitely not to continue to pay and play! Bring back WoT 9.17 and then you have something worth bragging about!

the maps are drop dead gorgeous, the outdoor garage nice touch especially with the people dong everyday chores, haven't played all that many games low tier battles are a pain to get in with wait times 5+ minutes in queue, spotting mechanics seem to be a little whacked line of sight not seeming to work. Will post more when more battles processed
