The more I look at it, it almost feels like it's better to actually use vents over the rammer (while having stabs and optics) strangely enough. It already isnt winning any DPM awards, and when you are shooting your gun, you typically dont want to be the main focus for very long anyway. just something that is chiseling at me currently. what are your thoughts?

If you use the rammer, you can compensate for not having vents by adding food to your loadout. In fact, because food gives you 10% bonus crew skill compared to vents' 5%, the above scheme is like having 5 equipment slots.

But of course the drawback is that food is expensive and if you're replacing your extinguisher then fire is suddenly a problem. Then again, preventative maintenance can make your engine safer, re-usable repair kits can afford to be used on damaged fuel tanks, and tier 10 is expensive as hell in any case.

Thats where the problem of wz... chinese anything really... becomes a problem. They catch fire as much as the fv215b and that's a nightmare. I tried food, and was punished every game for it.

Definitely vents. Wouldn't even think about it.

I use vents, rammer, bia/sos & food to slightly buff the ROF, reload & DPM

And food is on sale this weekend.  Stock up and fill your depot.

Plan B would be to use food to replace your medkit instead of the extinguisher. If your commander has 'jack of all trades', then losing just one crewman isn't that bad, and losing more than one shouldn't be that common.

If you avoid food completely, then I'd still favor the rammer. The obvious reason why is because the DPM will be terrible without it. The not-so-obvious reason is because in this case, the loader serves as the radioman which means you won't have to bottleneck your commander to get both vision skills. And that means you aren't desperate for vents to get your view range to decency. As of other aspects that vents would improve, the difference would be very minor on its own. In terms of accuracy for instance, can you really feel the difference between 0.39 and 0.40 spread?

Its all personal choices, depending on ur play style. I always go take vent before ramer.

I run it with vents, rammer, and optics.  I don't use the vstab in this tank...haven't needed it (yet).

If you can run BIA, Situational Awareness, Recon, and Food, then I recommend Vents, Rammer, Vstab for 456 meters of view range.  This assumes you can get firefighting elsewhere.

If you can't run those 4 things, then I recommend Optics in place of Vents.

Vents also increase your skills - Camo, Repairs, etc... by a small amount...

wz-132-1 can wrack up damage fast when the gun doesn't derp out
