Been here for the past six years.  Remember when Type 59's were still available, sealclubbing was something I was a victim of, and Dragon Ridge and Komarin were fun places to go.

 

Garbad, Lert, and Nithydux roamed the forums.....I guess Lert comes around sometimes and Garbad, let's just say  mysteriously dissapeared to say the least.

 

There was General Patton, Tuco 22, and the others.

 

Well I guess the old days are gone forever, but will never miss them.

People naturally lose interest in games, or at least as much as they initially had. It's a natural process and everyone has their own "limit" where this turning point happens.

Garbad, rightfully so was perma-banded from the forums, Lert is still here but just doesn't hang out like he used to, he is truly busy, very busy.  As to the vast majority of them, they hang out at Wot Labs with the other snobs of this game.

As for the rest the elites retreated to their wotlabs enclave to toss feces at wg without fear of bans and the others have drifted off into other interests. Normal life and times of a gaming forum.

Garbad was forum banned (both here and at WoTlabs, though I know the WoTlabs ban has come and gone at least a couple times).  Lert, I believe, is moderating or something at the World of Warships forums.  Nithydux, not a clue on that one.

 

Nothing really new on the forums the last several years anyway, so you tend to have the same conversation over and over again.

The only one I miss is Garbad... he had a pure white-hot hatred for arty and he let it flow.

Garbad was fun but easily thwarted. All you had to do was not fall for his trollish baiting and reply to his diatribes with logic.

Ha Ha Ha! Laughing my head off right now to hear that character was even banned from the WOT labs forums to boot, he must've got the DAS BOOOOT!

Been here all along since I first found the forums. Life and work in particular can keep me from having time on the computer, but I'm still enjoying the game and probably will until it goes offline sometime in the future.

I miss South Coast, Dragons Ridge, Komarin, Northwest, Pearl River, Province, Hidden Village, Port, and so many other maps. I don't care if they weren't perfect, they added variety!

i miss my first 6 months in this game

 

while it was horrificly unbaanced in the KV-1S tier 6 domination

 

it was still fun....

 

ever since then, its always felt like less variety of tanks are picked(despite more in game),  less maps(...which is true),  and less effort from WG (less and less fun modes, longer gaps between updates,  less and less feeling that they care for the game,   and more and more russian clones which inevitably are meta to pick while other nations rise...and fall forever more)

 

 

and the forums......fewer and fewer memorable personalities logg on
