OH, u right,... pacient is a bad word??? I know the basic english word, but i sure that some combinations would be very offensive,.... for example in Chile, my country  "one-eyed chinese" translated to chilean spanish can be very offensive, But in USA is only a person with only one eye.

When i written "IS be pacient" i get banned for 2nd round automatically.

WG should list all offensive words o more common words for south american people.

I never said patient is a bad word as I only said that I find it highly unlikely they would ban you for misspelling something that in no way could be misunderstood as offensive.

As for racist, sexist, or cuss words you can look up lists for that.

https://en.wiktionar...ish_swear_words

EDIT: I have to admit some of those in that link are downright strange or hilarious as they're so rarely used or they make no sense.

It is well known by now that snowflakes are too fragile for swear words even when there is a filter active.

Do you mean "Dare to rage"?

Hope you enjoy your upcoming chat ban...

There's a very simple solution available for you, if you don't agree to WG's TOS/EULA, do us all a favor and DON'T click the "I Agree" button after the next patch...

You just remind me of one of those political leaders who go around telling everyone what's what, and then they're found to have been engaged in "interesting" things behind the scenes the whole time.

got my first chat ban today.... 24 hrs woot woot.  The amount of effort being put fourth to deter me from calling someone a ^$>=^$> idiot is astonishing, considering that there is already a filter in place for those who's feelings get hurt from words. Why not filter the entire chat? The wg thought process amazes me! If you ask me, chat became useless when they did away with talking ship* to the other team, since then it's only gets used for team rage 98% of the time.

That could be said for every complaint/thread in the forum, your insight towards the op is very deep. :sceptic: It's the surrounding logic that you can't seem to grasp. It's a game based on war and killing, yet you can't say the word "s*#!". To people who use more than 1% of their brain function, it doesn't make sense. It's ok to replicate killing over and over, but it's not ok to say 'bad' words.

From: Game Rules

2. Prohibitions, restrictions and conditions of use, for all game chats and channels

You agree not to do any of the following while using the Game or any Wargaming.net game chat or channels.

2.01. Excessive profanity and inappropriate language is not welcome. It is suggested to ensure that the censor filter is switched on. The censor filter is not an excuse to break the existing game and chat rules, and excessive profanity will still be sanctioned.

You agreed to the rules, every patch, when you clicked the "I Agree" button...

Self control is a "thing"...

^..Yes. THIS.

Simple, follow the rules you agreed to and you'll never have to worry about chat ban strikes...

Don't expect others to take actions for you to violate the TOS/EULA... ;)

^..And this.

Just be respectful of other players and that will probably help you from getting chat bans in the future.

why when there is a profanity filter can you be banned for swearing when someone purposefully rams you out of the way then when you still kill the person they where trying to kill steal they then turn and TK you

As a victim of chat bans and other snowflake policy's I have changed my mind. I think we as a community should come together and Help WoT staff by flooding the system with new complaints and information to help them identify problem players. After all a person's sense of self worth is more important than the 14 other players who time and money is wasted by campers, team killers and trolls who are there to wreck player stats and win loss records by abusing the code of conduct sections the WoT refuses to enforce or address. So feel good and make sure you use all your complaint options everyday. For  unearned feelings of self-worth is the real reason we all spend 50-100 dollars a month on this game.

i just dont understand if someone doesent like how i speak they can 1 blacklist me or 2 they can turn on the profanity filter and see when i get angry because people are being idiots some random symbols

Or you can follow the rules you agreed to follow when you signed up for the game, that's always an option.

"Excessive profanity and inappropriate language is not welcome."

funny how it does not say NO PROFANITY,   only no excessive profanity......  back to being completely subjective on the definition of  "Excessive" so wargaming can do anything and everything they ever wanted too,  including Nothing,  because of how they worded this

*Again, and just for the record, I do not blacklist over "sensitivity issues".

That is a false and lame excuse usually spewed from some of my salty forum/in-game stalkers that just want to feel better about themselves after I probably blacklisted them for being unnecessarily insulting and demeaning, and/or spewing out racial slurs etc.

Honestly, my dudes...I have seen a lot of terrible things in my long life. Things that no one should ever have to see. And because of that, I have developed some pretty tough skin. Sometimes, maybe a little too thick. So, as a result, I will now blacklist someone if I detect even the slightest hint of snarkiness in their tone or tenor. I'm not wasting my time responding to 'anonymous keyboard cowboys' that only seem interested in belittling, insulting, stat-bashing, and other such nonsense. So frankly, the real reason I blacklist is because I simply have better things to do. And I don't feel obligated one bit to respond to that malarkey.

So I think in the near future I'm going to make a google doc and track how many people swear in a battle and after a month send it to wg if anyone wants to help with this when I get around to making it I'll link it here so we can just prove how lax wg is if they want to chat ban people for justly calling people things then let's show them how much their player base swears in excess
