Final Polish Items (not the country)

Some final polishing items that still need addressed from Stage III.

 

Bush physics:  Bushes rebound too quickly, it's like they're made of springs.

HE impacts on tanks:  HE shells leave shell holes like AP/APCR does.

Should HESH rounds make holes similar to HEAT but bigger?

Minor visual glitches:  Still some visual glitches when in sniper mode (ie, shell/tracer graphic not rendering)

Atmospheric improvements: 

  • If you're in the desert or some other hot locations why are there nearly no heat shimmers?  These barren locations look cold, not hot.
  • Audio wise, there should be sounds of items falling onto the tank and they should be noticeable (you ever hear hail hit your vehicle? and we're talking marble columns falling onto tanks or dirt raining on your vehicle from a nearby ground strike.)

 

What did I miss?

  • If you're in the desert or some other hot locations why are there nearly no heat shimmers?  These barren locations look cold, not hot. I think adding more might make the game distracting. For instance it might be harder to aim at targets far away (or maybe dizzying for some people), but since that is an effect that is not displayed on low graphics, it might be a disadvantage to run on Ultra

Out of all the things WG could fix in this game, your examples are FAR from the top of the list.  Final Polishing?  NOPE.

This is only talking about the 1.0 update, but I agree with you.

Many of the other issues have been discussed or are being fixed.

Just for clarification has WG tweaked any of the collision physics they promised in the beginning so far?

If not that is also an area that needs polishing in addition to all others.

Don't know, I couldn't find any notes on what Stage IV changed.
