My clan is playing advances and for some reason, we cannot win an attack on  mountain pass when they are hard turtling. I know that yes we could be doing it wrong or that their focus fire is better than us but we cannot figure out a good attack against base 2. I was wondering if any team found a good attack because what we usually bring are shown down in the picture
Spoiler
. Also at the back of the base you can double bush and shoot without getting spotted and I think that spot is broken. If anyone knows a good strat, please leave a strat map link or describe a strat.

I think if they are coming from base 2, then they have to beat you. As you're coming from base 1, you should win if it is a draw. At least that is the way it has been, what few times we have done advances.

1. Mountain Pass camps are the hardest to break. No other map in the game is anywhere near as difficult, because there's only two approaches to the cap.

2. Luckily, every camping team does the same thing, so you can work around and figure out how to break it. The map is essentially mirrored, so you can do the same thing to either side.

3. Being 2-3 arty, preferably Conq GC's. Pound those grouped up heavies into the dirt before your main force engages.

unfortunately, Mountain pass camps have been an issue for years. And still, no viable solution exists in countering it.

A smart enemy commander, will see that it is taking fire from 2 enemy SPGs, and will see that it is very profitable to bust out and rush 15vs13 tanks. Then your arty strategy to dig out a camp fails.

lf you bring 1 GC, well 1 GC won't digout a team of 15 in the provided ten min. Heck, l am sure 2 GC would have a hard time too.

My theory would be to stock up on tanks like Types, EHundo, TE4, T57, obj 75. Since mountain pass will spill into close ranged attacks near cap, you do not need to fear a early game med/LT spot across the valley destroying your things. Having these tanks, which trade really well, can allow you to possibly overcome the defense. lf your enemy is using tanks like obj med tanks, Bat Chats, it is better for your heavy stocked team. Types do not even have to aim for a Pen. Well....at least mountain goats are far less an issue now

Oh to theory craft. 8) Try x3 E3s, x3 100 LTs, x9 CGCs hehe

100 LTs are passive, E3s are assault backstop, and CGCs are well, dps xD

You can even swap out x2 CGCs and the E3s for x5 Fochs if you are feeling frisky.. 8)

We were on the attack so a draw was a loss

You know the map and/or clan is going to be campy, so bring more emphasis on heavier tanks like Type 5 and Maus.  Also bring 1 or 2 CGC's.

Use your airstrikes on grouped up targets in key locations.  Killing 1 tank in a key corner is more important than damaging 5 tanks grouped up.

Use what Wargaming gave you.  Load that gold ammo.  Use HE when you have to.

Failing that, learn to live with other clans choosing camp maps and camping against you.  It's a sign that your clan is growing up.

Like Dog said let arti work and take a couple guns out.

spot early to get them working fast with 10 min time is the enemy.

it’s equal numbers so if arti can kill a few you have the advantage don’t forget the enemy can see your tanks if I am calling and set for a camp and see over 2 arti I am pushing .
