Yup it worked, but i don't think that was a sheriff.....

As The_Chieftain pointed out, WGNA is very strict as to the conduct of sheriff's and anyone wearing a WGA tag.

Ok, watched the replay. Three observations,

1) He isn’t a sheriff. I don’t know what made you think he was.

2) It is certainly physics abuse. Send the link to the support team by way of ticket. The automated system won’t catch that, the support guys need a manual tag.

3) Do try not to rise to incitement. Using slurs, even if you feel provoked, is not authorized, nor helpful.

And DEFINITELY do NOT do what __WarChild__ does which is take matters into his own hands.  __WarChild__ will tell you that Wargaming frowns upon that harshly both in game and here in the Forums...

I'm not kidding.

But I do find it a little funny.

You know what else isnt helpful? Your reporting system and your team damage system. But you only show up when someone calls out a sherif by accident to “take care of it” how noble.

The mechanism of how to use the reporting system, and how the team damage system works is automated and well known. I can't affect those. Poor behaviour by employees or those sanctioned by the company is not covered by any in-game system and requires 'taking care of.'

I've always felt like The Chieftain was one of the good guys.

He's regularly at the front of things trying to maintain good relations and communications with the many people and perspectives that WG's player base represents.

He plays the game; because like us, he really enjoys it.

i.e. He's part of the player base.

He often streams his game play.

Tuesdays if I remember correctly.

His articles are stimulating, and resonate well outside of the WarGaming circle.

i.e. He brings in a lot new people who love armor.

And, what do you know; here it is a Saturday, and he's the only visible representation of the entire company.

In many ways, The Chief is the face of WGNA for people like me.

I was lucky enough to meet him in Seattle long ago.

So yeah, you're directing your frustration toward the entirely wrong person.

In more ways than one when you consider the OP.

Nelson

Don't confuse the in game system for the website system. The in game system is streamlined to handle the most common issues, the website takes care of the complex issues. You just have to use the tools given to you.

I wish I had taken a screenshot so you could see what was beside his username. I can't describe it from memory very well, but every time there have been sheriffs in a game, and people talked about a sheriff being in a game, it was the same. Red, kinda like triangles in the corners? I don't see that very often, but when I do sometimes, people chat about it being a sheriff. I think I killed one once and got like 250 gold. Maybe it was something else, but it didn't show up on replay and that's disappointing. The whole time I watched his tank after mine was destroyed, it was there. How does something like that appear in-game but not on replay?

I did learn something from this though, I read the user agreement more thoroughly than before, I didn't know anything about physics abuse, or that you could turn someone in for it, and get them in trouble, and that common insults or slurs are not allowed at all. I thought it was all blocked unless you didn't mind it and had the filter off.

I team killed 2 guys a long time ago for physics abuse, cause I didn't know how to handle it, now I do. I got a 3 day suspension for that too.   :)

Yes! But, WOT needs to further the battle results navigation on the uploaded element i.e., search player service records e.g., PUK..... Record carries some weight. PUK atta know how to maneuver that tonnage. It appears PUK was viewing sniper mode and not focusing what's in front of him. I operate my Oj glove much this way and never any collisions. I don't wish to be considered a [edited]'s rear.. PUK just gets points reared for being [edited]. True, "Watch where you park!" Especially if your having to pack your lunch.

I think you are confusing the player badges with the sheriff tag.  The sheriff marking is like a red reticle/target.  The badge that any player can get for completing personal mission is the number in a red diamond with tiny little diamonds at the corners.  You will occasionally see the personal mission badges at lower tiers, but see them often at mid-high tiers.  The sheriff tag is extremely rare to see these days.

True appears like you say. I've scored a sheriff. I believe what you vision was an enemy light tank icon in the background.

Well Chieftain, just found out they don't take tickets for physics abuse, all you can do is unsportsmanlike conduct in complaints section under the players name in battle results. So check your info, it may be outta date. I was getting excited thinking maybe bad players were getting punished, and that i just didn't know. But I don't think they are, so just learn to live with mean players I guess?

I apparently sit corrected, now I look it up. It seems that the in-game manual reporting system is used. I can't tell you when that change was made.

When did this change? Because I sent a physics abuse ticket just last week for being pushed out in the open.

What would you do if a Sheriff pushed you into the open, got you shot to death, and then said "watch where you park"? I enclosed a game replay

That wasn't a sheriffs account and I half blame you for being in his way.  Now you're just naming and shaming too.  Also, I would watch where you park in the future.
