as much as I love the way the game looks this patch does literally nothing to fix many of the underlying issues with the game like .. power creep, and absolutely horrible map design. On the next patch can we rework the maps so they are larger so tanks that are designed to be flankers can actually do that in the event the heavy force cant punch a hole? nothing is worse then being in a pre autoloader era tank and getting steamrolled because your gun is so substandard by todays game you literally cant do anything (t44 190 pen constant tier 10s ... lets just remember what was in the game when you ground the t54 then do the math). you release all these amazing new tanks give them ridiculous characteristics but then you leave the old content the same so its completely outmatched.

how about some rebalance..... and for for the love of Christ don't do it like you did for the M48 ... the gun was never the problem ... maybes its huge has no camo and is slower then molasses.

Ah come on - your not dazzled by the eye candy?  Its nice of them to dazzle us with eye candy instead of fixing the many core game issues :)   It's easier to make things prettier than fix things people can't actually see on there screens.

They couldn't fix core game issues before upgrading the core graphics first. This needed to happen first, and now that it has, they can start to work on core game issues as they have already stated. Patience people...

once again wargamming messes it up. great looking game and yet still piss poor performing game with that same crap that was wrong with. match making sucks, RNG is broke and CAMO is broken. and not one person has the time to fix it. but ha thanks for the new music losers. guess I can listen to that all of the above remains screwed up.

power creep and poor map design are not an engine related problem, they used the same engine on ships map size is not a problem there. furthermore some of us have been playing since the beginning... its been long enough.

Horrible map design has nothing to do with limitations in the engine - they are just BAD and they have gotten worse not better over time.  More funnels, less cover and more centralized brawling areas.  Eventually given the direction there going all the maps will be Mittengard furballs.  Engine wise if they can make 1400m maps as they have done then size should be an issue, all maps should be large and inclusive of various game options.  Ships also shows the engine is easily capable of larger maps already.

Power creep is in all games that have expansions so its to be expected - needs to be controlled better in regards to pay vehicles though.

Vision system needs an over haul

Physics needs to be trimmed a bit

RNG needs to be reigned in a bit

Dispersion fixed so bad guns are bad at hitting [sigma made so the derp specifically go to the outer ring more often than the long barrels]

Absurd he mechanics need reworked armor needs to be made meaningful again [not through use of cumbersome mechanics to simulate armor]

Artilleries role need to be clarified in game better

Scouting needs to be reworked [give them MUCH more view range - less damage and pen and give them much more xp on spotting than damage]

Tank roles redefined [as mentioned in sandbox a while ago]

Premium rounds need to be addressed properly

Match maker needs some further improvements

...the list is long.

None of these are graphics engine based - and yet here we are with prettier maps and fundamentals ignored for the most part.
